ISLAMISM WITH HUMAN FACE

The author builds his assertion from an academic perspective with a touch of personal observation. In my opinion both approaches fail. To analyze Islam, one has to live in a Muslim country and experience the intricate phases of Islam as a culture and as a faith, its interpetations based on whim and the situation it serves and how Islam is understood by the adherants. In most cases the followers of Islam are illiterate, poor and ignorant and are easily manipulated by their sheiks and mullas from the early stages of schooling in "kutabs" or "madrasa".

Political Islam is behind those sheiks and mullas to reach the millions who shape Islam today and tomorrow. The agenda is the same and that is the West is the milk and honey as promised in thie Quran and has to be subjugated and controlled to spear head the glory of their Islam!Go back to recent plots and shootings by the military in US and some prominent bodies in Canada.
