Islam and Nazism are both religionsReader comment on item: Islamism with a Human Face? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Jun 4, 2014 at 07:41 MWA you wrote But Nazism did not dare to suggest that it would be the philosophy of choice in the 'afterlife' as well.... and offered no rewards there - as everything was for the here and now and the future of the glorious Reich und das deutsche Volk. Well religions do not have to be carbon copies of each other for example Buddhism is non theistic where the rule of god or gods is marginal at best but it is still is a religion Historians of religions tell us that: Religions satisfy fundamental human needs through a process of transformation. This process can generally by divided into four stages: 1. Diagnosis of disorder 2. Symbols of distancing 3. Liminality 4. Restoration or rebirth And this is what a religion is all about and it is not just believing in god or gods or an afterlife I'm just scratching the surface here but the point is the fact that Nazism has nothing to offer for an after life is not correct after all did you ever watch the Hitler's beloved Wagner's "The Ring Cycle" and his "Ride of the Valkyries" which sounds to me not unlike those that die in the cause of Allah and the virgins in Allah's little bordelo? but the message is loud and clear that if a German would die in the cause of Hitler and Nazism the virgins will be ready for him but this does not mean that Wagner composed "The Ring Cycle" with all of this in mind So in this respect, Islam is far more insidious as there is no tme off - and its insane philosophy attempts to cover every aspect of existence in true totalitarian fashion. And so is Nazism so we should add the stupid PUBH after the name of Hitler Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
