Erdogan's "Alevis without Ali" [Turkish Atheists]Reader comment on item: Islamism with a Human Face? Submitted by Ludvikus (United States), May 28, 2014 at 14:53 Turkey has now an insignificant number of Jews - many of which left for Israel (and continue to do so). So it's not easy to compare the Mr. Erdogan to the one whom I shall not name (out of some respect for the Turkey, if not the man who holds the seat at the moment). At least we can say he's not Ataturk, that's for sure. But if we examined the blame that Erdogan places on everyone who isn't a Sunni Muslim Turk within his party, or a member of it's working-class silent populist silent majority, the similarity to the "great" demogogue that blames everyone else for everything that was wrong with Germany on the conspiratorial "other," the comparison is onavoidible. It is to be recalled that after the collapse of the Weimar Republic, Germany was salvaged economically. But the "Evil One" chose his military over his S,A. Turkey is perhaps blessed by the fact that Erdogan was weaked Turkey military by his countries two conspiracy trials, and his police force has apparently also been waeked with his vast re-assignment of alleged Gulanists. But the Turkish "populist" public seams very similar to the German public which - we must remember - fell into the hands of Adolf legally and "democratically," and it was thereafter impossible to remove him once his police state was in place. Fortunately for Turkey, and thanks to Erdogan's Islamisism Sand ays of a "Sultan" and "Caliph" (but without Ataturk's genius) Turkey is in no position for war against its neighbors, or its own people (in the way whom you know who I mean). http://en.cihan.com.tr/news/Erdogan-says-Alevis-aim-to-weaken-Turkey_2103-CHMTQ0MjEwMy8xMDA1
