Judaism has transformed; so can Islam -- if we want it to

When the Jewish people completely lost control of the Temple, with its destruction in 70 CE, Judaism radically transformed. Anyone who has studied Tanach in any depth can see that Judaism today, even in a time that the Jews live in the Holy Land and control the Temple, bears little if no resemblance to the Judaism of 2000 years ago -- let alone at the time when they first established the nation of Israel after exile in Egypt.

Can Islam have a similar transformation? Of course it can! Depriving them of their holy sites in Mecca and Medinah, as the Jews were deprived of theirs in Jerusalem, would certainly move things along. That is certainly within the capabilities of today's "Romans" in Washington and Brussels: The fact that it hasn't happened yet, is merely testimony to the fact that the Western leaders haven's wanted to do such a thing. Mind you, no lives would need to be lost; no need even for "boots on the ground" -- it would be a matter of destroying some flimsily-held-together real estate, period.

I'm not proposing that we in the West actually DO such a thing; merely saying that there is no reason it couldn't happen. The Muslims are "rebelling" against the current world order, which is unquestionably ruled by NATO, Japan and the rest of the Western coalition, in the same way the Jews rebelled against Rome in 70 CE. NATO & Co. overthrew Afghanistan and Iraq, and can certainly overthrow any other country of their choosing, including Saudi Arabia. It's already been done: This is not news; this is not shocking. Neither is this the only way to radically transform Islam; and those other ways are also dependent on only one thing: the will of the West to bring them about.
