Moderate Muslims? I remain a skeptic.Reader comment on item: Islamism with a Human Face? Submitted by jeb stuart (United States), May 22, 2014 at 21:13 The last book i read by an Islamic Imam claiming to be a "moderate" was a promotion for the peaceful implementation of sharia law in all facets of our lives. It fits nicely with Obama's pretentious notion that "Jihad isn't Jihad". When a true moderate opened a website to promote discussions on Islam, he was quickly arrested, tried and sentenced to 600 lashes and six years in prison, for breaking Saudi Arabia's cyber laws. In Sudan this week a pregnant christian woman is being tortured who will not convert to Islam and remains steadfast in her christian faith, the Christian faith that exists outside of the Koran and the Imamas determination of what Christianity is. In Indonesia an Islamic woman committed adultery she was gang raped as a punishment and is sentenced to be "cabed" with her lover. Mr. Pipes that that was just in the past few days, only a few of the continuing crimes against humanity orchestrated by Islamists. Moderate Muslims, I'm not certain I want to have peace with moderate muslims in that context. And jihad isn't Jihad", sic.
