Jihadists treat weakness like sharks treat blood in the water, so the opposite may also be true: strength will weaken Islamists' resolve. In lieu of teaching Palestinians to love Jews (not happening anytime soon), at least instill respect and even fear. Convince them Israel's crazier than they are, and maybe they'll think twice about intifadas and launching terror missiles.
