Time to bring back the short-wave radio.Reader comment on item: How Can Israel Win the Palestinian Conflict? Submitted by Prashant (India), Jan 8, 2023 at 23:48 Dear Dr Pipes, Draconian regimes of all kinds can suppress the media in any which way they want. The Internet, the cable TV, the medium wave radio stations, the printed material are all subject to being blocked by Islamic and non-Islamic draconian governments. I think it is time to bring back the short wave radio. Shortwave radio can give power back to three AA batteries (literally) and to an individual human being. Church groups and freedom loving think tanks around the world should investigate if they can buy shortwave bandwidths near Islamic nations (and north Korea and China and Putin's Russia) and educate the people living under these regimes. I do not know how feasible this idea is. The war against communism was won by good propaganda. Our current war against tyrannical regimes must also be won the same way.
