Scotty,

I have done my homework, and from what I recall, the Crusades began with the Christians attempting to recapture Jerusalem from the Muslims. It was begun by the Pope Urban II along with Emperor Alexus and they wanted to gain control of Jerusalem for religious reasons, because Jesus lived much of is life around there. This went or for approximately 200 years and the objectives remained pretty much the same. Muslims did not begin that war. And yes there was fighting from both sides of course, hence why it was a war. However, I stated the Crusades to demonstrate that all religions, even Christianity, rage war on each other for one reason or another.

I live in London, so I have a lot of mixed friends, not just Muslims, but also Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs and even Atheists and we all get on. Anyway, you claim that there are some no go areas because of the Islamic ghettos. Where are you living? Well I am aware that there maybe are some areas that exist with these problems, i.e. areas of Bradford. But you have forgotten (or blocking yourself from the fact) that there are areas where, not just Muslims, but people of colour cannot even go out, for example in small villages or rural areas, for fear of racism, even in cities too. Again your comment sounds a little close minded.

Secondly, I know that I and my family don't bleed the benefit system. My parents worked hard to get where they are, have brought their own house, car etc and I know I have worked very hard also to get where I am in my job for example. I believe things are not just given to you. There are many Muslims who work very hard and run businesses and have become very successful to get where they are. There are also people of all races and religions who are on the benefit system, Blacks, Whites, Asians, etc.

So to say that Muslims are coming here to drain the country of all it has is wrong. Again, you sound VERY narrow minded. You also sound quite like a conspiracy theorist who thinks Islam is out to change and destroy everything in this society. For example, Muslims actually want the law to acknowledge their beliefs. The people of this country don't need to follow the laws; we just want laws for us. For example, taking out a mortgage is Haram for us due to interest rates. We would like to see a system for us dealing with Islamic Mortgages. If Canada can do it why can't Britain?

Also it is not strange that all Muslims have read the Bible, I know a lot of people, including my Christian friends who have read the Quran. And we all read these different religious books out of interest to allow ourselves a widened and enlightened view. I also stated that I read the Bible to demonstrate that I would not call it Evil, although I could have easily done so. You can read the Quran if you wanted, you are not forbidden. Why are you so sceptical? Also my family and I participate in community life and know the majority of my neighbours and socialise with them. I live in an area where we all get on and there are many like my family who do get on in their communities too and participate in various activities.

Furthermore, Islam IS a peaceful religion and like I said before it is the individuals who are often publicized as extremists and make it appear that Islam is not so peaceful. Islam respects all religions. If you even look to Israel, (lets not mention the war now), and The United Arab Emirates, Christians and even Hindus, Sikhs etc are allowed to practice their religion freely.

In Islam we are taught to not judge other beliefs that is for God to do on the Day of Judgement. As for shaming and standing up to the atrocities, I honestly cannot comment on that issue because I have not experienced or come across these people. I don't live in an 'Islamic ghetto'. But I believe it is the so called 'imams' who are recruiting and selling the young men false information claiming it is from the Quran. They also target the young, because of psychology, they are easily brainwashed. Young men, in particularly, are easily swayed by the information, they are shown images of war and say this is targeted at Islam.

Because so many of them are very much in touch with their religion they take it personally. It is not the Quran that allows this evil really. They use the Quran to continual justify what they are doing is right. But it is very wrong. This is what you call brainwashing. Also, some of those who do these evil acts may keep it quiet from other members of the community and so many others don't know about it. I honestly do not know why families do not condemn it, if they do know, and it is a question which greatly puzzles me too. Maybe for fear of there life or they are ‘in on it' too.

All I am saying here is that you are very quick to judge on what you are hearing in the media. You seem very narrow minded suggesting that ALL Muslims are the same, but we are not. That is like saying all whites are racists against blacks, which is simply not the truth.
