No it is not the word جهاد or الجهاد means holy war

هو قتال من يجوز قتالهم والفعل جاهد يجاهد

So you tell us what does this mean?

For the readers it means (the word Jihad) it is FIGHTING who ever is allowed to be (subjected) to fighting and the verb is he who fights a holy war
