a slight argument

well Shinto, you make yourself sound knowledgable here. however, that may soon prove different. i will take what i can and refute it for you so that you may think twice in your argument. lets look at your "reasons":

1) this issue i will discuss in a later comment...i must read up on it. 2) Jesus did not preform these miracles, it was God who preformed them. God blessed Jesus with these miracles to show the people that Jesus was not a liar. so the argument that Muhammad did not preform any miracles is ill-informed. Muhammad was sent as a regular man to invite people to Islam. he was not sent down to preform miracles, and he did not need any. it was God's choice to give Jesus many miracles and Muhammad few. 3) i will read up on this issue. 4) Muhammad said that he came to renew and reiterate the messate of 'Isa (Jesus), and the Quran talks extensively about the status of Jesus. so this argument is completely wrong. 5) I would like to hear from you what you think Muhammad stood for. both stood up for the Truth, both stood up for the people of his time, and both stood up for the basic 10 commandments. give me something that Muhammad stood for which contradicted what Jesus stood for, because I cannot find any. 6) this i will elaborate on. do you dare say that Jesus was not made, in your religion anyway, a king figure?! YOU WORSHIP HIM!!!!! YOU PRAY TO HIM! YOU BLATANTLY HAVE ACCEPTED THE RUMOR THAT HE CLAIMED DIVINITY! how can you say that he was not put to king status? you're right, he was not put to king status, HE WAS PUT TO GOD STATUS in your religion! Muhammad did not claim to be a king, or a person of divinity, he claimed to be a man. he was a man who was given the Message to convey to the people.

actually, the reason the Muslims are attached to him so is because of their love for him. we love a man who has given us glad tidings, we love a man who conveyed the message of our Creator, and we make every attempt possible to defend him because of this love. but unlike you all, we do not worship him. as was said by one of Muhammad's closest companions after [Muhammad's] death, "if you worshiped Muhammad, then know that he is dead. but if you worshiped Allah (God), then know that He is alive and will never die." this summed up the Muslim faith...this was proof that our love for Muhammad goes as far as to protect him from people mislabeling him or calling him what he was not...it does not go as far as to worship him as a divine being like the Christians.

also, you are right about Muhammad's saying "My God is your God". however, you fail to realize that this referrs to GOD and not Jesus. he was saying that the one who created him is the one who created you (the Christians), the only difference here is that you all (the Christians) worship a man who you claim is DEAD (the Muslims are the ones who say he is not dead! and you are the ones who worship him!). by saying that "My God is your God", he was giving light to the fact that we are all from One Creator, and that He is deserving of the highest status, and that He alone is deserving of worship. we should worship the Creator (God) and not His creation (Jesus). and give me some times when the conversions were "forced"?

my friend, you should consider the facts of the beliefs of the Muslims before you accuse them of something, and you should consider that your arguments might be used against you. I used logic and, honestly, common sense to refute your arguments, and unless you can use something other than bias to refute me then hopefully you will see the light. my regards.
