Mansoor: You must read ayat more carefully and not just in context IIReader comment on item: Britain's Encounter with Islamic Law Submitted by Plato (India), Mar 24, 2008 at 12:23 Mansoor, you write further: >>86:7-8SHAKIR: He is created of water pouring forth, Coming from between the back and the ribs As for your making joke of Quran mentioning water released from between the back and ribs. See the following link and understand that this verse is purely related with the substance released by women during an intercourse...Pluto Pluto….you are becoming guilty of maligning others' mind in ignorance…better understand …better behave..<< Hippocrates, everyone knows was a great Greek physician. I had no clue that they still taught the great doctor's textbooks in Pakistan. I knew Muslims love the seventh century science contained in the Koran but I did not know that they still set great store by Hippocrates textbooks to interpret Koranic science. I did let out an insane peal of laughter when I went through what your link revealed. It talks of females spurting out liquid during sex and of male and female sperm and such other 2000 year old science. I had expected madrassa science to be only about 1400 years old! 341. Intercourse, conception and pregnancy. Cos, 4th cent. B.C. (Hippocrates, On the Generating Seed and the Nature of the Child 4-7, 13, 30.4=VII.474-80, 488-92, 536-8 Littré. Tr. I.M. Lonie. G) …..(5) When a woman has intercourse, if she is not going to conceive, then it is her practice to expel the sperm produced by both partners whenever she wishes to do so. If however she is going to conceive, the sperm is not expelled, but remains in the womb. For when the womb has received the sperm it closes up and retains it, because the moisture causes the womb's orifice to contract. Then both what is provided by the man and what is provided by the woman is mixed together. If the woman is experienced in matters of childbirth, and takes note when the sperm is retained, she will know the precise day on which she has conceived. Male and female sperm (6) Now here is a further point. What the woman emits is sometimes stronger, and sometimes weaker; and this applies also to what the man emits. In fact both partners alike contain both male and female sperm (the male being stronger than the female must of course originate from a stronger sperm). Here is a further point: if (a) both partners produce a stronger sperm, then a male is the result, whereas if (b) they produce a weak form, then a female is the result. But if (c) one partner produces one kind of sperm, and the other another, then the resultant sex is determined by whichever sperm prevails in quantity. Mansoor, I am a totally relieved unbeliever now. Your claim about Muslims having the ability to chew bullets and readiness to wash up in red water had made me nervous. As the science you use is still of the Hippocratic age, not even of the age of Muhammad, you just gave us a 2000 year lead. >>Regarding the setting of sun read the verse you cited, I quote here with reference to context. …. [18:85] So he followed a course, [18:86] until when he reached the point of sunset, he found it setting into a miry spring, and found a people near it… Plato you can read millions of poetries where it is mentioned that sun is set in sea, even such poeteries are written in the present era with science has proved everything..<< Where does science end and poetry begin in the Koran. In 86:7 we have good science confirmed by none other than Hippocrates himself. But when Dhul qarnain sees the sun set in a miry pool we have Koranic poetry. So how does one decide what is science and what poetry? Do you have a code or password in the Koran to unravel this mystery? >>….. In the verse you mentioned in your post Allah SWT was revealing about a noble Prophet Dhul-Qarnain.<< Allah revealed to us about the existence of this prophet without telling us much about what he did except travel to the ends of the earth to punish or reward some mysterious people. In the process Allah also managed to create confusion in its readers by telling us that this prophet against all present day scientific evidence saw that the sun sets in a sea and rises from another. >>People here must be tapping your back again on your post but your claim to have knocked me down is again proved baseless …But I still believe that you wouldn't accept my sincere reply!!!<< As a chewer of bullets I cannot knock you down. Yes my back is beginning to hurt but more worryingly my head is aching horribly from the stuff you are throwing at it. I may really soft in the head soon. >> As for your perception that you have crossed the seven heavens (in terms of sky above earth which has seven layers) through space ships, I say I have no objection about it.<< Why are you not commenting on the great Islamic science revealed by Harun Yahya on the site you so triumphantly directed me to. A school girl from any non-Islamic school would laugh herself out of your madrassa if your library contains Harun's science books. >>…The reason is Quran already told us that Man would be able to cross the sky…so there is no big deal!!! [55:33] O genera of Jinn and mankind, If you are able to penetrate beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate. You cannot penetrate without power. [55:34] So, which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? Nowhere in above verse Quran says that it is impossible for man to cross the realms of the heaven and earth. We know there is lot of power involved in lifting a rocket or a space ship to cross the sky…so Quran also gave clue as to how we can cross the sky… Mr. Pluto…any answer????<< Mansoor, please read: 055.033 Why is there such a big difference between these three popular translations and the one you have given? Aren't you trying to be just a little bit clever by using a translation which talks of penetrating the sky with power to suit your purpose? All three translations I have given talks of Allah saying men and jinn cannot pass beyond the regions of the sky without His authority. The translation you have given is probably a mid-twentieth century one by someone who realised after infidels reached the moon that this verse is all wrong and so attempted a change of meaning in the translation. This translation is also a demonstration that the Koran's meaning can be easily changed depending on the translator. You know that the majority of Muslims have to depend on translations so their understanding of the Koran can easily be manipulated. Allah seems to have forgotten this. He had the power to make sure that even translations could not have different meanings. This is a sure sign that His powers are limited or maybe that Islam is meant only for Arabs. Here is something for you to ponder, Mansoor. Allah has given authority to cross the skies only to people who do not believe in Him. Food for thought. Muslims (Pakistan) have so far only penetrated to the limit that Harun Yahya has set for the seven heavens. When will Allah give Muslims authority to go beyond his seventh heaven? And is this a poetic clue or a scientific clue that Allah has given us? >>Plato and all others here must understand that Quran is not wrong, neither can be proved wrong. You put all your efforts a side and Quran is alone to defend your charges very easily. It is only the eye with clear vision and a clean heart which can accept the true message of Qura which is presently the only true and undisputed divine revelation from our Creator.<< Mansoor, it requires insanity on my part to keep this conversation going with you where logic, proofs and evidence are all brushed aside with "Plato and all others here must understand that Quran is not wrong, neither can be proved wrong." Merely making a grand statement is not the same thing as proving it. It is no different from Islamic logic which states that Allah is the creator of the world as it is proved in the Koran where Allah declares Himself to be the creator. Now let any infidel dare to disprove this statement!! I have shown you again and again why the Koran is totally wrong with proof you have not refuted except to state that Allah says He is Allah and nobody should deny it. The people whom you quote turn out to be either outdated by several millennia (Hippocrates) or if their science is used, the world as we know it will come to a complete standstill (Harun Yahya's nonsense science). Regards Plato
