We have many Muhammeds among us, and they are not pedophiles

Child marriages were common throughout history for a variety of reasons, including poverty, insecurity, as well as for political and financial reasons. Today, child marriages are still fairly widespread in some developing countries, such as parts of Africa,^[4][5] South Asia,^[6] Southeast and East Asia,^[7][8] West Asia,^[9][10] Latin America,^[9] and Oceania.

From what I've read, Muhammed didn't consumate his marriage until the girl was 9 or 10 -- not six. He was married to her for at least three years before going in to her, probably to raise up grandchildren for Abu Bakr.

How does that supposed "sin" compare with the sins of David? The ancestor of Messiah committed adultery with his friend's wife, then conspired to have him killed. Is he the "moral compass" we should follow? Yet God called him a "man after His own heart!"

There were five rulers during Israel's Golden Age: Eli, Samuel, Saul, David and Solomon. Of those five, the only one who raised up Godly children was the wicked king Saul, father of Jonathan. The others, all said to be Godly men, were failures as parents.

Do you want an example of a virtuous man? How about Hitler? Was he kosher? He was a vegetarian. Was he an adulterer, like Roosevelt? No -- we know of only one woman he loved; and he married her before they died. He didn't smoke and didn't drink. He upheld traditional German values. He did not marry any six-year-old girls.

God's greatest enemies, for the most part, are not monsters. Often, they are virtuous and religious, esteemed by the people. Their words flow like honey, like Muhammed's poetry: they don't do their work until after you swallow them. Muhammed's sin was not pedophilia, or any other outwardly despicable act. His sin, was that he opposed the God of Israel, and called the Word of God a lie. One doesn't have to be a pedophile to do that. In fact, there are millions of non-pedophiles walking the planet today, doing this very thing.
