Not the most effective way

KIilling the killers is not an effective deterrent. After all, they all want to die as Martyrs and according to them such death provides a direct path to paradise.

To have an effect, something they dread more than anything else must intervene. One simple answer is that all dead terrorists will be buried inside the carcass of a pig. If this does not set the cat among the pigeons, little else will do. There is always the possibility of a fatwa saying that such act will not prevent passage to heaven, but the mere thought will be very difficult to ignore, at least for quite a while.
