Is Muslim Terrorism Reaching a Tipping Point?

I fully agree with your views. Even India is facing similar problems. Highly educated people from topmost Institute like Aligarh Muslim University have been found involved in terrorism.

Recently, when Prime Minister went to JNU at New Delhi, the highly intellectual of university protested him for similar reason of discrimination. It is ironic; we find support for killing masses even in intelligentsia. It remains a challenge for civilized society to distinguish between demon and gentle? But today's paper of Times of India (Mar 14, 2006) says, ‘Fatwa issued against Islamic terror' in Hyderabad, Indian IT hub. It further says, ‘Using Prophet's name for terrorism is sinful'. It indicates emergence of some tipping point. Can Indian Muslim show the path to the world?

Religious fanaticism is the useless means to achieve any basic need of humanity. Like Industrial Revolution and Agricultural revolution, Religious Revolution is the thing of the past. Caste system of Hindu religion or terrorism of Muslims would not be able to provide the basic amenities for human being. Society, like science, has a way of always moving forward. The question comes now is how far human being is ready to move with it.

Today, we all are witnessing fortunate and pleasant changes thanks to the effort by Western world to spread freedom and democracy. There is a need for all of us to pledge in the name of humanity to rise above religion, region and sectarian to help ourselves. Everyone of us should rise and think in that direction. All humanity is privileged to be a part of this conscious evolution. We must feel the part of the conscious growth of human civilization. India has to show the path in 21st century. Hydrabad, the Information Technology hub of India, has to lead. Muslim has the opportunity to move ahead and enjoy the development. The tipping point of terrorism has reached. Now Indian Muslim is issuing a fatwa not against non-Muslim but against terrorism. It is great.

Since time immemorial, God has been made as a means for exploitation of the poor and downtrodden. God has always been a very powerful tool to exploit the large sections of society. No revolution has taken place to stop these exploitations for the benefit of humanity in general. People have either spread the knowledge of God or kept quite. They have either followed the path or made a separate path to be followed by others human beings. The people, who have acquired the wisdom to know about the availability of God, spread its message for the exploitation of humans in various forms. They have forced large sections of society to follow blind path of obedience on the name of God. They have spread the message of ignorance and fear. They have spread the message of slavery in some form or other. Hardly on the name of God, have any preacher ever given sufficient justification to the society.

Even today, if somebody acquires some knowledge about the superpower, i.e. God, he or she becomes another God to be worshipped or issue fatwa or spread terrorism. He or she hardly spread knowledge and convictions. They hardly try to explain their wisdom. They hardly try to explain why they think some way why not other way. They go out of way to convince large section of population that his or her form of understanding of God is close to real one and that is only true and certainly not forgetting to declare other are all false and myth. The normal human being gets in these traps so easily that he or she hardly have time to come out of those false impressions. That is what many Hindus have done. That is what Osama Bin Laden is doing. He calls himself a Prophet.

He has the permission from Allah to remain hidden and kill thousand of innocents across the world irrespective of religion or region. The wide spread communication have awaken the civilization of the reality. The people whether in Muslim or any other religion are more conscious than anytime in the human history. They are not going to accept non sense.

Science along with religion has come a long way. Almost all Religion and religious gurus have started feeling the impact of science in the human life. Scienec has provided proofs for all the material things and even immaterial one. The growth of physics, chemistry, medicine and now nanotechnology has almost proved the whole understanding and concept of earlier civilization on religious ground were drastically wrong; however the spread of exploitations on the name of God has not stopped in any part of the world. It is there and it is still a serious issue of human rights violation.

Hardly has civilization encountered or had an outlook to feel the misery of human on this aspect. Irrespective of region or border of the country, the sheer exploitation on the name of God is widespread and universal. In every part pf the world starting from South Africa, to Asian countries, the menace is so deep rooted and established that anybody coming out of it is certainly taken as enemy to society and in large enemy to humanity. They are rather projected as demon. This always results in a very limited exposure of its real truths. But now time has reached for better consciousness.

The early people of civilization were afraid of everything. They were very less knowledgeable. There were no means of communication for the wide spread of consciousness against exploitation. Subsequently, when the medium of mass communication came, the concept and utilization of religion took a different look. Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru in his book Letters from a Father to His Daughter (p-72)- has said, "Religion first came as fear and anything that is done of fear is bad". It was fear only because of which many religions were spread. As the people understood the religion and God in little more depth, they also followed the path of their ancestors and spread a new religion with minor changes here and there. Even today, plenty of such new groups are being formed. They all try to spread the message of God in some form or other. They all claim to be taking forward the cause of almighty for the betterment of humanity. They all are working for the welfare of the poor, downtrodden and deprived. They all are claiming to be serving humanity in some form or other. They all claim to be passing the great moral values to society without which the society will not able to be disciplined. It is long and tiring arguments for the prevalence of a system and their followers.

Every individual since childhood is taught about God. I believe God and sex are the two most confused subjects during the initial bringing up of a child. The initial study of moral science teaches a child about various aspects of God. Parents remain concerned that their offspring learn about the religion and god so that she or he could become a better person. They always try to educate about all good traits of human being under this pretext. India is full of temples. You go to any tourist place, there are few famous temples. We have given so much attention to make these temples a better place. However, the availability of these temples is making common man more religious and less entrepreneur.

The concept of God is introduced or understood by a child, depending upon his acquaintances with the various religions prevalent in society. There are many famous religions like Hinduism, Muslim, Sikhism, or Christianity. Every religion manifests its God in different forms. They have holy books like Ramayana, Mahabharata, Gita, Koran, Bible, Guru Granth Sahib and so on. Based on these holy books, children are taught about the moral values and duties towards humanity on the name of God. A child encounters different religions, different holy books and significant diversion of moral values on few crucial issues. The child grows in today's modern world with varied confusions. The different religions and its values make a child puzzled. In the bhajans of the Gurudwara, Azan of the mosque, carol of the Christmas day, prayer of the Buddhists and mantras of Vedic hymns, colour of Holi, lights of Diwali, the human being is lost as a human.

But the changes which are emerging is almost like a surprise. Now exploitation on the name of religion would vanish. No mother will be ready to give their painfully delivered babies for suicide bombing. No father will be ready to sacrifice their children on the name of religion. Civilisation is going to witness more surprising conscious human beings. The terrorism from Muslim world must vanish for the sake of Muslim community.
