I can and will commentate on what I see. If that happens to be criticism so be it. I see mobs of muslims on the the rampage. I see a religious group that is so insecure in itself that it cannot take criticism of any kind, without a backlash of some type. I see a religious group that seemingly turns a blind eye to totalitarian control, violence and destruction from it's members. I see unchecked fundamentalist factions within the religion that seem free to operate within its bounds and within the mainstream infastructure and follower base. [fundamentalist clerics and immams in mosques all over the world]. Are you suggesting that there is a hidden reason why militant/fundamentalist Muslims/Islamists are so v olatile? You incinuate that upon learning and understanding Islam I will sympathise with their actions.

Funny things is I don't need to "understand" any other religion [bhuddism, Hinduism, Christianity] They seem to be able to control themselves without resorting to the scenes we see in "all" forms of news

A typical response. Let me help you. Islamism refers to anti-secular political ideologies derived from fundamentalist interpretations of the religion of Islam. Islamists generally assert that Islam, as both a religion and a social system, should be practiced as a philosophy by the government. The use of the term "Islamism" is controversial. Individuals labeled Islamists often regard themselves as simply observant Muslims and oppose using the term. In contrast, moderate Muslims and liberal movements within Islam generally apply the term to distinguish themselves from groups and philosophies with which they do not identify. However, the term is often misapplied to denote Muslims who engage in violent or insurgent activities.

Islamist is a recognised term in this day and age, regardless of it's application be it controversial or not. It's all in the name of the SAME religion.

On one hand you say OBL and Saddam are not a muslim and therefore, it's not a muslim issue and then you say Hitler was a christian, incinuating it is a Christian issue. Contradiction of the century!
