But the "War"is waging primarily outside Israel-PalestineReader comment on item: Why Israelis Shy from Victory Submitted by Robert (United States), Sep 3, 2018 at 09:24 Dear Daniel Pipes, I think you need to "go easy" on Israel at the moment - because the "Battles" that need to be waged are under the jurisdiction of "General Trump," and not "General Netanyahu." I hope you understand my metaphors here? UNWRA has the other day, as you know, been deprived by the Trump administration of its 80% US contributions. . It has finally been realized that less than 1% a real "refugees" - the rest are "fake" as you described them (is that where President Trump his "fake" news notion? I'm kidding). As you also know, besides being in Gaza, many of these "fake" Palestinian 1946-1948 REFUGEES are in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. What a "wonderful" Arab environment to "release" them into - where they can demand CITIZENSHIP so that they may rebuild these ancient Muslim Arab lands recently demolished and destroyed by Muslim ISIS and Shea Muslim Iran. I think your general, vague, demand for seeking "Victory" obscures the fact that the USA under President Trump's administration is doing the necessary work - and Netanyahu and Israel under him is correct - "just sit back, and enjoy the show." Of course, I'm quite aware that everything THE DONALD does in this environment is under close consultation with Netanyahu and his administration. One way you can now be more specific,I think,is to re-consider how to revive your proposal of a Confederation with Jordan regarding parts of the West Bank - now that Abbas informed Kushner that he's willing to accept the (Arafat proposed) Confederation with Jordan, provided Israelis a part of it. It sounds to be like this might be dubbed the THREE STATE SOLUTION: Israel, Palestine, and Jordan Confederation. Could this become the seed of the United States of the Middle East? Impossible? Hey, don't forget Nasser's, short-lived, United Arab Republic.Could Arabs start believing that the Jews is the best thing that has happened to them in modern times in the Middle East? You've been spending recently much time exploring European Political consciousness. But I wonder if you have any knowledge of the possible transformation of the Arab mind in the context of the failures of the Arab Spring? For example, regarding Pan-Arabism, is that not embodied in ISIS,the Muslim Brotherhood, etc. Are there no knew Arab Intellectuals who might see Israel as a Blessing, and that the Palestinians are no better than the most recent Syrians who, not at all because of Jewish Israel , are the latest Refugee victims?
