True Israeli Victory in Palestine

Dear Dr Pipes, Islamic wars never end. For a war to end an overwhelming number of involved people must believe that the human cost of war is higher than the human cost of living in peace. I have not met many Muslims of any nationality saying anything good about Israel or Jews and I have known many Muslims. So Muslims will waste away many of their generations before they will concede that Israel should exist.

The true Israeli victory will come only when an independent Palestine that is 100% democratic, 100% secular (that is full separation of church and state) and sufficiently diverse (Muslims population less than the proverbial 98%) comes to be. Most of us do not even have the courage to think that any Islamic theocracy, let alone, Palestine, can become such a country.

I say this over and over again on your site because it is the hard fact. No religion of the world --without even one exception-- controls any significant portion of the planet Earth exclusively. Islamic religion will also have to relinquish its exclusive control from the lands on our planet before our victory can be a true victory. My thought is entirely political. It is not about the Islamic religion. It is not my fault if Islamic religion cannot maintain a distance from politics.

Not even ten years have passed since Yazidi's were nearly completely eliminated in Iraq by Islamic interests. Divergent thought has not existed with freedom in that part of the world since Muslims made their first victories. And not even one century has passed since sufficiently large populations of Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains existed in Pakistan and Afghanistan. And we can talk about disappearing Algerian, Iraqi and Moroccan Jew as well. We can also talk about the disappearing Christians in these countries.
