"dhimi no more" should be grateful to Islam if he is a Jew or Christian!Reader comment on item: Recruiting Soldiers Against Radical Islam Submitted by Hassan Pierre Arceno (Philippines), Apr 22, 2007 at 12:02 By saying that HQ2:256 is already abrogated by HQ9:4-5 &29 you again exposed yourself of no command of the the Holy Qur'an and the history of revelation and the history of Islam!!!! HQ2:256 is a verse which is inherently cannot be abrogated or irrevocable!!! It says: "There is no compulsion in religion, because the truth is truly distinct from error! Whoever reject evils and believe in Allah has indeed grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower." The said verse is very consonant of the advice of Allah how to spread Islam. Allah says in HQ16:125: "Invite mankind to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His path and He knows best who are guided." Commonsense will dictate to us that Islam as a religion of all prohets like Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad, it should be a religion of righteousness and freedom. Allah said in HQ18:29: "And say(O Muhammad), the truth is from your Lord. Then whoever wills, let him believe in the truth; and whoever wills, let him disbelieve." In fact, the right to have a freedom of choice or free will whether we believe/obey Allah or not is already deeply rooted even we are still in the process of being created, that is why Allah give us ears to hear and eyes to see for us to choose what way are we going to follow, either the way of Allah or the way of Satan!!!. In fact for our guidance Allah always showed His way but it is up for us to be grateful of it(ie accept it) or not (ie reject it). We have indeed freedom to choose!! Allah said HQ76:2-3: "Verily we have created man from drops of mixed semen in order to try him, so we made him hearer and seer. Verily we showed him the way, whether he be grateful or not grateful." And the last of all but not the least, Allah says in HQ109:1-6: "Say (O MUhammad): O disbelievers in Allah, I worship not that which you worship nor will you worship that which I worship. And I shall not worship that which you worshipping nor will you worship that which i worship. To you be your religion and to me my religion." Now it is very clear on the verses above that there is no compulsion in religion Islam, but despite that you will accuse of Islam as forcing people to accept Islam? or killing those who will no longer accept it by just using the politically fabricated hadiths and reports in history? Are you aware that as Muslims(not the talibans wahabi al-qaeada) the most authentic evidence for us is the Holy Qur'an and it will never give way to those mere reports in hadiths which are reported or narrated only by the fallable people who lived or existed more or less 300 years after the time of Prophet Muhammad!! HQ 9:4-5, 29 is not at all a verse or verses that abrogated the verses quoted above. The verses 9:4,6-7, gives already the clear injunction that it is forbidden to include in the Muslim counter-offensive those who remain peaceful and never break the peace treaty!. Let us not forget that in the ongoing war between the Muslims and unbelievers, it was the unbelivers who always started the war by even pursuing the Muslims as far as Medina just to stop them preaching and embracing Islam!! Now the war between the two parties were temporarily stopped both parties agreed to sign a peace covenant during a pilgrame season and among hte agrrement is that Muslims are free to have a pilgramege in Mecca - a holy place of Muslims which is still under control by the unbelievers!!!. It is very clear that the unbelievers take the advantage and oppurtunity to kill Muslims in their area of control that is why Allah had ordered and encourage Muslims to fight back and defend themselves as indicated in HQ9:12-28. We should take note that in this situation as described in chapter 9 of the Holy Qur'an it is the unbelievers who broke their oaths of peace in the covenant and declare once again hostilities or war against the Muslims as indicated in verses HQ9:8, 12-13. The people of the book being included in HQ9:29 are obviously those who are hostile only to Muslims who connive with the unbelievers, and cannot be applied to those Jews and christians who never at war or hostile against Muslims! The very proof that these groups of Jews and Christians are hostile or at war against Muslims or at least supporters of the Meccan disbelievers is that they never pay Jizya or tax at all, as indicated in HQ9:29. Those hostile Jews and Christians must be fought also and be neutralized until they will be subdued and pay also Jizya or tax the way the peaceful Jews and Christians had done!!! We have to take not Jizya is not a negative term but a positive one. It indicates the tolerance of Muslims to the Jews and Christians and considered them as also in the religion of Abraham!!! The Muslims also pay taxes. It is called Zakay for Muslims as it is called Jizya for the Jews and Christians. The tax of the Jews and Chrisians are simply different because they did not embrace Islam in the first place! had they embtace the New Covenant Islam ofProphet Muhammad they will not pay Jizya but Zakat... In anyway they are all Islamic taxes due to the people under the protection of the Islamic state!!!! In fact Jizya is the clear indicative proof that there is no compulsion in Islam because is "dhimi no more" is correct in his wrong interpretation that Muslims forced the peopleI to embrace lslam then there will be no need for Jizya and there will be no Jews and Christians left in the Islamic states!!! Yet History bears witness that Jews and Christians enjoyed freedom to worship in all Muslim land, unlike the policies of Christianities which is the very opposite! Like for instance, In Islamic Spain, all Muslims, Jews and Christians lived side by side and were friends. Yet when Spain was taken and ruled by Christians, all the Muslims and Jews were killed and expelled from the land! That is how hypocrite "dhimmi no more" Is!!!! shame on you... !
