Mansoor: Muslim rule in India a devastating example of Islamic governance.

Muslims did rule India for a long time and the rule bears testimony to the cruelties, mass looting and destruction of native cultures that Islam brings in its wake. Will Durant wrote in The Story of Civilization: "...the Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex order and freedom can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without and multiplying from within."

There cannot be a more devastating comment than this by a great historian on what Islam did to IndiaS.

Sita Ram Goel, an Indian historian in his book ‘The story of Islamic Imperialism in India notes: ‘…..The cows, the Brahmins, and the Bhikshus invited their special attention in MASS MURDERS OF NON-COMBATANTS. The temples and monasteries were their special targets in an orgy of pillage and arson. Those whom they did not kill, they captured and sold as slaves. The magnitude of the booty looted even from the bodies of the dead, was a measure of the success of the military mission. And they did all as mujahids (holy warriors) and gazhis (killers of kafirs) in the service of Allah…'

It was not cowardice, but a kind of destructive chivalry that did India in, as Will Durant observes. Also probably the caste system with only one caste being allowed to bear arms, depriving the Indian kingdoms of recruits from the larger part of their populations.

You want to know what real cowardice and backstabbing is, Mansoor? I have given the story of how the prophet had his opponents killed, allowing his co-conspirators to lie to a man, Kab Al Ashraf, he wanted murdered to make him let his guard down (The murderers, one of whom, Silkan b Salama, was Kab's foster brothers, who enticed the victim with some sweet talk. Read the story in Ibn Ishaq page 367-8. It as good a story as one can imagine of deceit, treachery backstabbing and cowardice). Also read what he did to Asma bint Marwan. Your prophet himself told you the best thing you can do is to imitate him in his actions. As faithful followers of Muhammad who are the biggest backstabbers of all? Also recall what Pakistan has done to their brethren, the Biharis, stuck in Bangladesh

As regards cowardice, what happened in East Pakistan in 1971?? Pakistanis used to boast that one Muslim was good enough for 10 Hindus (that's what the Koran tells you in 8:65 SHAKIR: O Prophet! urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a hundred of you they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand. Or even 8:66 where one Muslims = 2 infidels) which would have meant that your army was about a million strong in E. Pakistan. Why did you surrender meekly?

That is because the Hindus are not barbarians. In fact the Muslims in India are quite happy with where they are. They can see that Muslims from the former E. Pakistan are eager to come to this infidel country. They are not so eager to go to the country of their former brother Muslims in W. Pakistan. We also see that the number of Hindus in W. and E. Pakistan have come down drastically.

You can rest assured that the Hindus are also happy to lose some of the religious ideology which created the caste system, widow burning etc. They are not like Muslims who insist there is nothing wrong with slavery, or beating up women, or shutting them up till they die for lewdness 4:15. We don't mind adopting customs from wherever if they make us better human beings. We also adopted western democracy unlike you country adopting dictatorship of the military. And by the way we also see how Pakistanis lap up decadent Indian culture via Bollywood movies and TV serials.

What this means is that Hindus have evolved as opposed to Muslims who are stuck with their 7^th century beliefs and rituals. Let me ask you whether you are willing to give the extremely barbaric practice of animal sacrifice. How can any merciful god expect to appeased with the pain and blood of millions of animals every year?

The Indian courts are even trying to ban an ancient custom of bull teasing. Recently cricketer Dhoni who made an animal sacrifice had to face much criticism.

Imagine someone in Pakistan criticizing your haj ritual as a remnant of Islam's pagan past. He would be sacrificed for Allah's sake. In Islam you have always had even have human sacrifice. Just a few days ago a Hindu was lynched as he was accused of blaspheming. Killing in the name of blaspheming is nothing but sacrificing a human on the altar of the duality of Allah-Muhammad.

The Hindus have stopped their barbaric practices like satee (which were in any case localized phenomena in some northern Indian places).

Hindus are people who when they find something shameful in their religion and customs are not ashamed to admit it and makes changes to it so that they need not be ashamed of them and their children can lead a more civilized life. Hindus are unlike Muslims who are stuck with their seventh century culture and religion which accepts slavery, taking of booty including women and children, beating up of wives, and eye for eye system of justice, and slaughters animals in a most painful manner to appease their ‘merciful' Allah.

These cats had the same ancestors not so long ago. Or are you claiming your lineage from distant Arabia?

And since we belong to the same cat family we have seen that our brothers have been infected with a virus from some other more violent cats from a distant land. Our brother cats have now turned on us and want to eat not only rats but have turned their brothren.

Such nice Islamic language, Mansoor! Many a times I wonder about the Muslims who post here. They seem only next to the jihadists in putting off readers with the crude language which they use to defend Islam. I sometimes think that it is someswhat like the Twin Tower conspiracy of Bush and Co that Muslims are so fond of. These so-called defenders are really out to defame Islam.

I would like some of the other Muslim posters on this forum to comment on this sentence of Mansoor.

Yes Muslims and Christians are hawks to the doves of Hindus, Buddhists, and other pagans. But if you get the time off from your religious duties read up on what happens in a contest between hawks and doves. There is mathematical theory (Game theory) which you will find interesting to study.

Also get a clue from the fact that paganism has existed forever. Hinduism for nearly 3500 years or more, Buddhism for 2500. The hawks appeared in our part of the world only about 1400 years ago. As expected they have done plenty of damage. But the damage has is now being is being contained, in China, India perhaps, even if invisible now, in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
