At last Some Sanity from Mansoor!! I REST MY CASE!!!

Dear Mansoor,

I am happy that as a citizen of the country you are aware of the turmoil which has currently gripped your country.. I would have been happy if you would have discussed the same in this forum instead of digging dirt in other faiths.. That is not what sane people do!! I also hope that you realise that radical islam has wrecked havoc with pakistan and it is the sole cause of your country's downward spiral.. Here Allah wont help, it is the citizens like you who should stand up and look at the radicals straight in the eye and say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. STOP USING ISLAM AS AN EXCUSE FOR ALL YOUR TERRORIST ACTIVITIES." THIS SO CALLED WAR ON TERROR WOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN PLACE IF THE VOICES AND ACTIONS OF MODERATE MUSLIMS WERE LOUDER THAT THAT OF THE RADICALS..

You talk about the Graham Staines case?? i had mentioned it in my previous reply that criminals are behind bars and are possibly awaiting death sentence!! Plato told you how 2 of our biggest states are ruled by the so called achhoots!!! I had also written that it is the Hindus that are in the forefront in fighthing these injustices. I also asked you whether there are any MUSLIM ORGANISATIONS WHO FIGHT FOR THE MINORITIES.. you didnt reply. i wish you would have named a few as i have named the hindus who are fighting the riots cases against the hindus.. I DONT SEE THAT HAPPENING WITH MUSLIMS!!!

The problem is that all the faiths are evolving and are open to self criticism, You keep gloating that ISLAM IS THE MOST CLEANEST , PERFECT , & THE MOST COMPLETE RELIGION OF ALL, isn't the statement itself wrong? if what you said was correct , why is the history of ISLAM more bloodier than any other religion? why there are bloody SHIA SUNNI conflicts going around? why are the ahemmaddis so disgusted with the behavior meted down on them? why do most of the conflicts in the world feature muslims?

if you say quran is the basis of all your faiths actions then why is it that it has been manipulated by the radicals and used to justify beheadings, bombings and severe gender based bias? if the book justifies the same that i am afraid is not THE RELIGION I WANT TO JOIN IN AND FRANKLY IF YOU ARE A MODERATE YOU WOULDNT EITHER!!!

I have already told you that yes , the problem of untouchability / widow burning, i.e satti, etc was rampant in hindusim, it is still very much there, but the degree is very less and is restricted to small towns where illliteracy is there . But we have evovled, we dont say that since the manusmriti advocates caste system, lets implement that!!! we have made laws to make it punishable if someone differentiates on the basis of castes.. But what do you do?? as a learned muslim, do you still agree that a women should be veiled? should be subjected to live in an environment where if she is raped, she would require 4 witnesses to prove that. consensual sex among adults should be dealt with stoning! is it correct? i have yet to see a progressive mullah going on television and saying that the laws of koran need to be updated.. it is because you refuse to evolve and if any muslims make attempt otherwise it is seen as an attack on ISLAM and silenced!!

Do you see people brandishing the Bhagwad Gita or the Bible or the Gurugranth Sahib, before launching any sucide attacks? quote verses of the above sacred texts before beheading someone? Use the book to defy the law of the land in which you were born? i dont think so.. It is muslims like you who should take a stand and stop the quran from bieng demonized!!! What Islam needs is good poster boys, and if they are from India accept them!

but who are your poster boys - osama ? ayman al zawahiri? that rogue ahmedinejjad? You should denounce them as muslims and make the mullahs issue a Fatwa against them! why is that whenever there is a terrorist attack anywhere, muslims sing , dance, beat their chests in pride? why cant moderate muslims jail these insane people?

Another thing- i understand that it is written in your quran that a muslim should stand up for a muslim!!! thats good, but what if the other muslim is a terrorist? do you still stand for him? unfortunately the answer is yes! that is why pakistan still keeps the Mumbai bomb blast criminals as thier state guests!!! every radical terrorist feels absolutely at home in pakistan.. why is it so? why is that muslims feel that every war involving muslims is their war? ISLAMS WAR?

why cant the muslims in pakistan sit back and let the palestanians take care of their own problems!!! why do they need to give fiery speeches in the madrassas in pakistan, India and other countries and mobilize the youth to become terrorists?? Why do sane, educated people drive cars into building and say it is for the victory of ISLAM? who incites them? the book? the followers of the book? questions , questions which you should ask yourself,

Intolerance for other faiths should be totally uprooted.. if you say mohammed was a peace loving and secular fellow then why did his followers plunder the hindu temples, razed them to the ground and killed thousands of innocent hindus in their attempt to spread islam? Your religion has been just around for 1400 odd years.. what gave it the right to wipe out symbols of other religions which were present eons before it was even born? have you given it a thought? it is your book which sanctioned thier actions!

I am sure you will reply to the above as you want to prove yourself to be a defender of islam and give yet another volley of insane comments.. but like Straight_Talk_Luigi said, the silence of the moderate muslims is worrisome!
