Response to M.ToveyReader comment on item: Prepare to attack [Iran] Submitted by Nura (United States), Jun 29, 2008 at 12:50 "we must remember as well that Christianity was populated with only Jewish believers initially (salvation is of the Jews, according to the words of Jesus Christ)" This is obvious. He came to the Jews so it would be natural that his first followers would be Jews. How is this different from any other prophet. My argument is that the preference for these people as being "Gods chosen" is based on obedience and acceptance of the Prophets. Did not Jesus say that through him is the way of salvation? So then anyone who rejected him as HaMashiach, as you stated, will know the opposite. You can be chosen for God's Mercy or chosen for his wrath. Jews have been chosen for both. This is the state of the Jews today. Aside from my mother, I don't know any Jew would will accept Jesus as the Messiah. "Only in the Romanization of the Church hundreds of years before the time of the Islamic Prophet did the Jewish influences suffer and were expelled for the anti-Semitic sentiments of non-Jewish believer, blaming the Jewish people at the time of the crucifixion for the death of Jesus" This is largely because Christians did not have power until the Romans converted. Christianity was a very slow growing religion. Besides the persecution of Jews, there were also other major changes during the Romanization of Christianity including the Doctrine of the Trinity. Jews received refuge from this persecution in Muslim Lands. "and ascension of Jesus Christ), and eternal life in the Kingdom of Almighty God with Jesus Christ on the throne in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. The Islamic Prophet tries to give some credence to his version of who Jesus Christ is, then make Him out to be a liar. That is what is seen as one who believes every word that Jesus Christ said and sees the Quran fail to honor the words of Jesus Christ." Zionist claim the capital of their state of Israel as Jerusalem with the help of the Christian Western world! The Kingdom belongs to the Zionists at this time. How can the Quran make him to be liar when Allah has cleared him of all lies! 55. And (remember) when Allâh said: "O 'Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Iesa (Jesus) is Allâh's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allâh) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allâh, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad SAW, 'Iesa (Jesus), Mûsa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurât (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur'ân] till the Day of Resurrection[10]. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute." I have already given this source. Our prophet (PBUH) has told us and confirmed the knowledge of not only the return of Jesus (PBUH) but his rule from Jerusalem! Where is the lie? Muslims wait for the return of Jesus (PBUH) as eagerly as Christians. Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non-Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it." Abu Huraira added "If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): 'And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness Against them." (4.159) (See Fateh Al Bari, Page 302 Vol 7) That is what is seen as one who believes every word that Jesus Christ said and sees the Quran fail to honor the words of Jesus Christ. What words exactly? His words, not the words of others. God has from the very beginning been revealed in the complexity of His personality, later shown in three faces, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Had this been held to in the Quran's depiction of the Brit Hadassah, the Quran would have made that distinction as well and not held to the Jewish insistence of the misinterpretation of the sh'ma. Allah has been consistent in his personality through the ages. He leads, gives mercy, and punishes for disbelieve. The example of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is not inconsistent to a number of biblical destructions of people who did not obey Allah. He has not shown himself as a Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. This would imply not only that he has multiple personalities, but that each personality is independent of the other. For example, Jesus did not know the plans of Allah! He had no knowledge of the thoughts of God other than what was revealed to him. So, this would mean that these separate personalities are not only independent but unable to access the knowledge of the partner personality! Jesus did not know of Gods plan for his sacrifice for mankind according to the Bible! He prayed that he would be saved did he not? Why God did not answer his prayer and instead allowed him to be a Human sacrifice for humanity? I propose, as Islam does, that Allah answered his prayer and protected him from this torture and humiliation. Did not God not say that any who was crucified would be humiliated? Why would God allow this humiliation?
