A More Complete Response to the 'Proofs from the Bible' - Look for the Truth in the Bible, Not for Excuses of Unbelief.
Reader comment on item: Prepare to attack [Iran] in response to reader comment: Here you are - Proofs from the Bible

It took some time to think about answering this in full, that other responses were focused on some singular aspect of this post. It also took some extra prayer, since dealing in Scriptural issues from this Christian' perspective requires adherence to the truth contained in the Holy Bible, something also missing from the excerpts mentioned in this post.
- Remember here that Abraham was compelled to eject Hagar (Hajar) and Ishmael since according to the Word of the LORD Isaac was designated by Almighty God to be the son of the promise, coming from Sarah as well as Abraham. Ishmael came from a liaison with a handmaid contrary to the Lord's promise; therefore he could not be in the lineage leading to Jesus. That is why we read of his near death experience and in his deprivation of sustenance, had no more strength to doing. Only in that the Lord hears Hagar's plea and provided for her and the man-child do we understand that Ishmael is to become the predecessor of the people we now know as the ‘Palestinians', doing so to provide the foil to the lessons needed to be learned by unbelieving Israeli's. Isaac remains the son of the promise.
- Physically speaking, there are two offspring to Abraham that are Biblically linked. Spiritually speaking, Isaac is the son the Lord recognizes, from a genealogical standpoint, for Jesus derives His lineage to the throne through Isaac. To say that the name Isaac was inserted has no true supporting evidence, being only an assertion to underscore the unbelief of some that Almighty God is true to His Word when Isaac is referred to by the LORD as Abraham's only son, in predicting the future of Jesus Christ being called the ‘only Son of Almighty God.
- No one can find the true locations of Sodom and Gomorrah, yet the Biblical references for the locations are recorded for the purposes of recording judgment against unbelief. No true proof of the name transference mention can be found in established scholarship.
- As mentioned in other places, Jesus Christ in His humanity suborned Himself to the limitations of the people He came to reveal Himself to. While in His mission to answer to proofs of His genuine fulfillment of Scriptures relating to His being HaMashiach, obedience to the Father needed to be demonstrated, hence His call to obedience as an example, which the Chief Rulers had extreme exception to.
- See answer to number 4. In any event, speaking to one's self in not all that extraordinary.
- Truth in the Holy Bible is all-existent; one needs to be very careful which version to trust, to be sure. Those that are credited with being translated honestly from and compared to the verified copies (KJV, NKJV, NIV, etc) are thought to be generally acceptable for study of the Word of the LORD. There are many that have been corrupted by those who would use the deviations to promote there own agenda in opposition to the Word of the LORD; these are to be avoided. In the final analysis, the Holy Spirit communes with true believers as to the message an individual may derive in his/her repetitive daily study to seek the will of the LORD in their lives.
- In the prophetic visions of HaMashiach, He is referred to an many capacities as the plan dictates. He is the suffering servant in Isaiah 53, the Anointed One in Isaiah 61, and the King of kings in the closing chapters of Isaiah. In Zechariah 9:9 He is the Savior entering Jerusalem on the foal of a donkey, to be rejected by the Chief Rulers and sent to Pontius Pilate for crucifixion, as Jesus did in fulfillment. In Zechariah 14 He is the Conquering LORD of Lords coming from Heaven in glory to take His throne and bring the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. He is all of these and more as the truth of the Holy Bible is continually being revealed.
- Already answered before.
- See item 8.
- How are you calling HaMashiach without Divine inspiration, the son of man, and correlate that with the foreshadowing of Jonah? (Hint: you cannot, or are borrowing from some one who does believe and has faith in Jesus Christ). My personal contestation with the subsequent mainline church position that Jesus Christ's crucifixion was on Friday does not fit the Scriptural record. In the year of His crucifixion the Sabbath observed for the Pesach places the event earlier in the week of the then observed Julian calendar of the Gentiles; nine o'clock in the morning to three o'clock in the afternoon, burial before sundown Thursday, the day reference being a modern one (I do not know the Greek or Aramaic term from the period for the fifth day of the week). The resurrection on the third day was the beginning of the next week, after the regular Sabbath had ended. Therefore, any contrived (Roman) church reference to a Friday does not fit the Holy Bible's reading on the event. But most importantly, He did give up His life to pay the sin debt for those who believe in Jesus Christ in faith, He was raised from the dead for the justification of that belief, and He IS in Heaven awaiting the timing fro His return, as we mentioned can be seen in Isaiah, Zechariah, and the Revelation and elsewhere, shortly to be fulfilled.
Now we answered the question earlier as to whether Jesus Christ was a Christian, but it bears repeating. Jesus Christ, One with Almighty God the Father and by the power of His Holy Spirit, IS the Creator; therefore not of the creation, namely, a Christian, the name adopted for His followers.
