Youre right, This does remind me of High school! I was the only Muslim at my High School. I had to often do what I am doing now which is debate a group of people at one time.

It doesn't seem like that many people are terribly interested.

How can you make me angry? I had a professor who basically said that my Prophet was a warlord! How is that for academia?

Sorry to hear that, but as a Catholic I too have discrimination. If your comments get edited on here, that's a sure sign you're angry. They let a lot of stuff go on here.

The reason why I respond to this blog, is because I have a habit of choosing to fight uphill battles. I know that this site is simply another hate site for propaganda. I know that the people who blog here are extremists

Most of the American population doesn't care what you do unless you interfere with the rights of others.

The sad aspect is that I am much different than I was 7 years ago. I would have been called a liberal Muslim. The West has a way of polarizing Muslims.

Instead of talking to secularists or radical Muslims, what do you waste your time with? Trying to tell me, a Catholic, or Dr. Pipes that life is rough for you? Have you seen how people have treated Dr. Pipes when he goes to speak at some universities, you know, those champions of academic freedom?

Nura, in this country we make life what it is. If you're going to let what other people get you down, that's your own shortcoming. I've learned that long ago.

I had trust in this government and the ideals that are fed to us, only it turns out that I was wrong as so many of you are.

Trust in a nation-state is a dangerous thing. They only look out for themselves.

Delusions blind the people. I don't profess to have all knowledge, but that is what is frightening. I am speaking of only what I know; Imagine all of the secrets and scandals that have not surfaced yet.

All is revealed to God. Nothing goes hidden.

Imagine we live in a day and time where people have been and are tortured and imprisoned solely based on speculation by the laws of this country? The law protects torture! Human rights groups have proven that these "coercive" techniques are actually manifested torture!

It's not torture, but it is annoying.

They are against the Geneva conventions yet, they have eluded our laws for over seven years!! A gross injustice that is being practiced openly! A time when the FBI can go to any home in America and take people without a warrant or evidence in the very least. The Patriot act!

That's kind of disturbing, especially when you consider the quality of law enforcement where I live.

A time when the President uses his executive power to tap the phones of people unjustly! My phone could be tapped, probably is.

A time when an internationally illegal war is waged in the name of Freedom.

Actually, it was based on faulty intelligence on WMDs and on madman determined to flex his muscles at the West. Freedom? Peh. They don't want it that badly over there.

There is coming a time where there will be no room for liberal Muslims.

I agree. Sharia law in Europe will prove this, and since some of the Muslim-majority inner city complexes run on it, liberal Muslims are being silenced, raped, even killed. Just like in Nazi Germany.

The argument that Islam is immoral in gaining stronghold in this country. When this argument has been fulfilled, it will be immoral to be a Muslim regardless if you drink, fornicate, it won't matter.

Well, look at who's fulfilling it. We see Muslim men go around and preach about how great Islam is and how the West will fall on its knees before it, and what do they do? Sleep around with Swedish and Norweigan girls, get drunk, go see the prostitutes in Amsterdam, watch porn.

And then what? Well, they're just having fun for now, but in the end, they'll marry some arranged bride from their homeland who's a virgin.

When you see Muslim men act like this, Nura, what do you expect others to think?

Calling yourself a Muslim will be enough for persecution in the future. Either your with us or against us,right? Europe is proving this with it's Hijab Ban, How is that for Freedom?

I can't say right now I agree with that, it would of course be that way for nuns too. If you want to hijab, that is your choice, just sometimes for voter registration they need to see you or sometimes workplace safety is an issue. \

I blog here because I have a right to. It takes strength to be able to defend what you believe against so many hateful people.

Do you know what extreme means? It's not a word to be used lightly. Just because people don't agree with you, doesn't mean they are extreme.

If Western nations were truly extreme, they'd be using first-strike weapons and nuclear bombs against their adversaries, who would all perish without seeing the face one American solider.

That is extreme, Nura.

I have simply stopped eating whatever is given to me. I question everything. The surety that I have is my religion is all I trust.

Unless it's in Islam, right?

My blogs call for sanity. The return of Moderate beliefs.

Then go and tell all the radical Muslims about your moderate beliefs. Most of the people here on Dr. Pipes are moderates. You're preaching to the choir if that is what you want to get across.
