Wonderful Observations on Western Exceptionalism!

Finally - a good Critic (here) on Multiculturalism! Some of my observations along these lines.

1. The Semitic Peoples (Jews & Arabs) invent an Alphabet (about 2 dozen symbols for sounds they speak). Out of it comes the Hebrew written language as well as the Greek (legendary Cadmus).
2. Jews turn their own One God into the God of All, and Value all humans, slaves included).
3. Christianity, initially a Jewish Cult becomes the official faith of the Roman Empire.
5. While the German hordes conquer and destroy the Roman Empire, the Judaeo-Christian Theology nurtured in Monasteries by Monks converts the Heathen Germanic tribes to Christian rulers and subordinate Serfs - not Slaves; each human is an Equal in the Eyes of God and in Heaven, even if unequal on Earth.
6. Islam emerges out of Judaism and Christianity and subsequently preserves the treasure and traditions of the Eastern (Greek) Roman Empire.
7. The Greek "Scientific" work of Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and Euclid, etc. are preserved throughout in written and copied manuscripts.
8. The Printing Press is invented in Germany (Holy Roman Empire) and renaissance works are published during the for the first 50 years - up to 1550 - the Incunabula, beginning with the Gutenberg Bible.
9. The inventions of the Telescope and Microscope.
10. The Industrial revolution and the invention of the Steam Engine (as recognized by Marx & Engels) in Great Britain or the United Kingdom.
11. The Age of Reason and the Deism of its Philosopher: God created the World, and left it alone with Human's free will to do as the please.

I'll arbitrarily stop here - with an emphasis on the notion of Exceptionalism: Multiculturalism is OK, but the West is Exceptional - suggesting that not all cultures are equal in all ways.
