It is written.......to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed (?); an inquiry that provokes differing thought processes as one contemplates Who is in control of the destiny of mankind and how that destiny takes humanity on a journey of journeys, going places the majority of mankind would never have bought tickets for, let alone being willing participants in the process at all.
This observer is a Christian Zionist, one that recognizes that HaShem is the Creator, the Eternal Sovereign of all existence and of all those that have been designated in their various myriad places in history, participating in ages old processes of being created for an individual purpose, the fulfillment of which appears blurry at first; yet as time goes by, it is either revealed in goodness or evil depending on a personal choice, whether implicitly or in complicity.
That being said, to be sure, the 'idea' of the Almighty as the creator being a 'Christian' concept is somewhat narrow-minded, that Christianity as a concept was initiated by the very Jewish Yeshua HaMashiach in the upper room narrative, some thousands of years after HaShem was revealed to predecessors of Jacob, the father to Judah. There were the children of Noah, the witnesses of an Almighty being that rebuilt humanity from the muck of a flooded world that had little idea, if any in a rational sense, understood the concept of a Spirit being that controlled their destiny as survivors.
Then there is Abram, contemporary with Job, both of whom had one on one relationships with their Creator, eventually coming to grips, then their senses, that their lives were totally dependent upon that very Being, Who, over the successive eons and ages, continued to revealed Himself in the way He had determined, warning all along the way not to make the mistake of previous humanity that they cannot define Him, let alone create their own image of Him. That is still the message today.
Now, salvation is of the Jews, just as Yeshua had said on at least two occasions. Christianity as it is represented in the true Church, is a momentary (in the eternal scheme of things) witness of the kingdom that is to be installed in Jerusalem, of which the believing Jewish remnant are called to be priests and ministers when that time arrives. In the meantime, the Church, in execution of its mission to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, must stay the course given by Scriptures, so that when that time does arrive, there will be no question that Yeshua HaMashiach is the approaching Adonai (LORD of Lords) and all the pretenders to the throne are to be vanquished, just as the Gospel writers of both testament had written.
