Definition of Semitic by Merriam-Webster for Dummy No MoreReader comment on item: How Fares Western Civ? Submitted by Robert (United States), Jul 22, 2020 at 14:02 Definition of Semitic (Entry 1 of 2): 1 : of, relating to, or constituting a subfamily of the Afro-Asiatic language family that includes Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic, and Amharic. It seems you have some Racist theory by which you see Nothing positive among the Abbas and only Good in Hindus? You also like to be sarcastic and look for way to misinterpret someone's views. What Europe was in the Dark Ages Arab and Muslim Culture flourished. Jews and Christens were second class citizens, but they were protected - better than in the Christian world. I'll take India over Pakistan any day. But to see the world as 2 camps - Good and Evil - is not my way. Notice the amazing similarity: a,b; Aleph, Bet; Alpha, Beta ! English, Hebrew, and Greek respectively. Judaism evolved under the Culture of Alexander the Great. And it's ventral concept is The One. The Christians turned into the Trinity. But the Muslims returned to the One. From all this nothing should lead to Hate or Racism. You seem to see only Spain as the route to Western Europe, But in fact the Venetians, for example traded with Byzantium and the Arabs and Ottomans. Algebra came to Europe with the Hindu-Arabic Numerals. The Violence of War is the unfortunate history of the World. So to see only bgood in the Hindus and everything bad in the Arabs is simply silly.
