AktReader comment on item: How Fares Western Civ? Submitted by Colonialism is equal to plunder & loot (India), Jul 19, 2020 at 21:02 It's wrong to say that "European nations as a whole lost money on the colonies. It's just opposite. European conquest is equivalent of loot, plunder & impoverishment of the conquered land (quite similar to Islamic conquest ).If we talk of other civilsations,Europe got enriched at the cost of conquered nonchristian states like India ,China and other Asian countries.Similarly the modern supremacy of Europe has nothing to do with its judeochristian values .Like any other Abrahamic faith, its dogmatic & anti-science by it's very nature. The Judeo-christian traditions only contribution in the field of science & technology is that they allowed & didnt kill the innate human spirit of logic & free inquiry in civilised world (unlike Islam). Even for their scientific advancement they can't claim it as their sole property as they borrowed so many things from other ancient civilsations like India,China,Greece ,Persia etc.(through Arabs & direct conquest). These ancient civilsations couldn't excel in the field of modern science & technology beacuse of impoverishment(following Arab conquests & colonialism ) & their political milieu of medieval period.
