Dear Dr. Pipes,

I hope you are doing well in these trying times.

"but because of its fundamental commitment to freedom, reason, and human dignity" again another apologist rant for the Western civilization. If the West is committed to freedom why dos it not allow Iran freedom to pursue nuclear power or China to pursue 5G technologies ? Why the West elects only whites as its leaders and deliberately makes policies to stop non-whites to immigrate ? I mean if the west does not support the rights of Iran, China and the immigrants then she is not in favor of freedom but using freedom rhetoric to satisfy her own hegemonic and barbaric tendencies.

In reality the West is insecure and knows very well that modernity is bypassing it and the way it wants to frame it. Western colonization impoverished the whole of the World and only the West flourished at the expense of others. You know why many in the West wants to shun globalization ? Since they know that countries like China will beat them easily by playing West's own rules and that is why racist,sinophobe people like Trump are elected. This is pure Western insecurity which realizes that another American century is now just a pipe dream.

I also want to say that the West is not and has never been a Christian-values based civilization. Jesus was an Arab Muslim and not a Westerner so the white man the West worships is not the real true Jesus. The white man the West worships is just her own self-image and in this way she is worshiping herself. This is idolatry of highest order.
