POPE BENEDICT CRITICIZES ISLAM : A REPLY TO SALMAN

While following the exchange between Mr.dhimmi no more and Mr.Salman, I came across a mention of Hinduism and Buddhism being "idol worship". This the best example, if any example was at all needed, of the muslims making solemn pronouncements on other faiths merely on the basis of appearances without making the slightest effort to understand the deep and profound truths behind certain simple rituals and gestures. For me to educate the likes of Mr.Salman on the subject would take considerable time and energy, and having expended that, I would still remain in grave doubt as to the efficacy of my efforts. Let me ask a few simple questions to Mr.Salman:

1) Why do muslims bow , kiss, and go round and round the black stone , called the Ka'aba? Is it not idol-worship? And how does the process of carving statues and idols out of such stones become "idol worship" and thus abhorrent.? If the idol worship followed by the Hindus and Buddhists is wrong then the worship of the black stone must be treated as equally wrong.

2) Mr. Salman, don't you keep any photographs,maybe of your parents, wife, or anybody near and dear to you, with you or in your house ? Will you please enlighten me on the reasons therefore ?
