considering the threat to civilization islam is, I would have loved for my ancestors to get rid of the problem back then.

Would I want muslims never appeared on this planet? yes.

You have a very big mental problem in sharing what happened in the PAST and what's happening now. Do you see any muslim killed or threatened just for being muslim in western lands? Of course not.

Do you see non-muslim people murdered and harassed in muslim country? EVERY DAY.

Currently, the following countries have laws sanctioning the death penalty as a punishment for apostasy: Afghanistan, Iran, Mauritania, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudia Arabia, Sudan, and Yemen.

Total population of the above countries is = 350 million people

The Koran does not call for the death penalty in cases of apostasy, which is why many more moderate clerics argue the death penalty is not sactioned by God.

However the Hadith - written traditions of the Prophet Muhammed - contain several passages supporting the use of the death penalty in cases of apostasy.

REGARDLESS of what's written in your death manual, the most prominent muslim countries practice this barbarity.

And I am not even considering where non muslims "only" receive daily harassment like Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey and the list is probably longer.

So we reach 90% of muslim countries (or 100%) that are in the first line of desrespect of minorities.
