KNOW THE DEBATING GIMMICKS OF MUSLIM ACTIVISTSReader comment on item: Pope Benedict Criticizes Islam [in Regensburg] Submitted by S.Kanhanna (India), Jan 14, 2008 at 11:17 I have been reading the comments, opinions and justifications of Muslims in Daniel Pipe's Web pages since a year. I feel, socially and politically there is an urge to contort Islam by attributing peace and tolerance to it (Islam) and project it to suit the modern western requirements. Some Muslims as well as non-Muslims deliberately coin softer adjectives like moderate, apologetic, sufist, plain... and so on for the hard and non-compromising religion of Islam. Whatever may be the denomination we ascribe, predominantly each Muslim has a fastidious hard core terrorist in him in hibernation, awaiting scriptural nudge. Since the Muslims are forced to accept Quran as the infallible word of Allah and Islam as the legitimate religion of a legitimate God, they are indebted to shield Islam from the other corrupted systems of faith with all the errors and the contradictions their Holy Scripture contains. For the Muslims an error in the Quran is divine and the same error in Bible is satanic or illogical. Here is a sample how most of the Muslims superficially debate and justify the Quranic errors and contradictions and prey upon the (scripturally) ignorant non-Muslims. If you are a non-Muslim and devoid of the nitty-gritty of your own scriptural affairs as well as the Muslims' and yet adamant of hearing them (Muslims), then you are requested not to slip this page. DISHONEST DEBATES OF MUSLIMS Strange are the ways they debate with their mind games. The Islamists might very sneakily creep into your privacy and lead you into a flexible debate only to point out how you are incapable of seeing into the core of reality. i.e. they want you to be precise in your thinking and expect you to be a little logistic and analytical of your own religion and faith. (However, they never do want you to be rationalistic in the matters of their own faith, Al Islam and their own Scripture, Al Quran.) According to the debating Muslims they do not attempt to convert you to Islam but rather help you to revert to Islam, the primordial- the first and only true religion of Allah. At the first encounter they may provide you some typical, radical-Islamic literature, which might help you to realize the hollowness and deceptiveness of the Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, and others. The books also will show you how Islam could work as a panacea to the entire falsity of the above corrupted religions. Your problem begins with your reading of the Quran. You come across a number of contradictions in it and you approach the debaters for clarification. For instance, you out rightly show them Quran, 9:5, advocates a Muslim to kill the non-Muslims, then, they would blame you for random picking the holy verses out of context. Further, you will be instructed to read Hadeeths for the deeper meanings of those Quranic verses. Next time, when you tell them you found something extraordinarily ludicrous in Hadeets (A tree bowing to Mohamed and reciting a portion from Quran (kalimaha), Mohammed splitting the moon into two halves, Mohammed marrying a FIVE Year girl,Aisha at his age of FIFTY. and etc) they would caution you that you need to segregate weak Hadeeths from unsound Hadeeths. In addition, they would remind you how the jealous Jews and Christians cleverly incorporated a good deal of fabricated Hadeeths in order to cast aspersion on Islam. Now you must be wondering how to classify weak hadeeths, sound Hadeeths.and the Judeo-Christian invented Hadeeths from the whole lot. Don't worry; it is none of your task. The Islamists will classify them for your convenience. It all depends on how analytical you are with your Hadeeth diggings. If you are a plain-headed simpleton, all the Hadeeths will be easily classified into "sound categories", but if you are a bit logistic, fairly-informed, and a bit investigative, then the entire Hadeeths go to the Recycle bin. Moreover, this time they advise you to abstain from Hadeeths and focus only on Quran since it alone is the infallible word of Allah that is free of human tampering. To your surprise, when you went through the text book of Allah diligently, you saw the Holy text is riddled with a stack of contradictions and absurdities like any other religious scriptures: 5:65-69 Jews and Christians will go to heaven. 9:37 Allah does not guide the non-Muslims. 3:118 Muslims should not make friendship with non-Muslims. 48:29 Hard on non- Muslims but be merciful to Muslims (2:65- Jews were changed to apes. 67:05-stars are for stoning Satan. 34:10-Mountains are endowed with reason. 18:9-20: Seven men slept in a cave for more than 300 years.) etc and etc.. Now you wonder why the Muslims ask you to be rationalistic when their own spiritual sources brim with illogicality. Now you are sure to incur the wrath of Islamists for your undesired weird practice of digging out cryptic verses from Holy Quran. However, hoping you are likely bait for Islam, they tolerate you and show you where you have astrayed in your reading of the Holy Quran. (a)" The verses you have cited are allegorical in essence and you must go only for the precise part of the Quranic text. " (b) "Probably you got these from the Shia, or Quadiyani quarters with an erroneous English translation. Be careful about the materials of the false Muslims (moderate, apologetic and secular) who are on the pay roll of Jews and Americans." Strange are the ways of their reasoning! You might wonder whether there are divine and infallible-allegorical verses in the kingdom of God. When allegorical verses could become infallible and divine, can there be not any allegorical or divine idols as well? A Hindu might tend to think so! When you pick up a couple of consoling verses for Jews and Christians (which say the non-Muslims will also go to Heaven like Muslims. 5:69), the Islamists would argue that you are vainly clutching on some abrogated verses of the Quran. You wish the Islamist apply the same abrogation techniques to Vedhas and the Bible as well, and, they too segregate the pure words of God in other scriptures and be benefited. At last, when they realize that you have gone far beyond their spiritual prescription and become intellectually tough to cure with Quran, they might begin preach you about "HEART." – "God is simply not an external reasoning and any amount of logic would not bring you near Allah and faith alone would lead you to the Territory of Heaven. Hence surrender to Allah and be a faithful servant of Him, peeling of your materialistic, polytheistic and communistic approaches." Islamists' debating deception knows no rule. When we speak of " heart and faith " they speak in terms of logic and common sense, but when we emphasize on logic and reasoning, they speak of "heart and faith " Eventually when their heart therapy fails, they will immediately enroll you in the Satan's party, ascribing partnership with West and Jews. They will curse you for your hardness of your heart.
