That is true, the bizarre customs of many Islamic lands is something else we could focus on. But then you'd be missing the whole point of people's reactions to islam's fanciful assertion of superiority etc. If you look a little deeper - what non-muslims are doing is holding up a mirror - and saying -' this is what you believe - these are the effects of your beliefs.''
