But don't you think that Mo - being the person you'd like us all to think he was - would have had the foresight to realise that people 100, 500, 1000, 1400 years hence - would have seen his actions and realised they were criminal? Some things are inherently wrong - and transcend cultural beliefs. Russians, Chinese, Anglo-saxons etc have no history of allowing 53 year old men to sleep with nine year olds as a matter of course. Why not? Caravan raiding and rape and murder have never been deemed to be acceptable socially-cohesive past-times.

see above. But similarly - as I mentioned - why are you using a 1400 year old book to judge today's events? Can you answer that?

let me see - was I trying to tell you that there was no murder and rape before islam? I can answer that one:No.

But now that you've brought the point up - there has been a hell of a lot of murder and rape because of islam - presumably because it has so many experts who know what it is that allah wants . on what allah wants and how anything can be excused to further the (lost) cause of islam.
