Well, actually Mr, Curmally - I don't recallwriting that post at all. can you check your records?

But seeing as you brought the subjects up - let's have a look.....

Good for you. Hopefully the 'prophet' would not tell you, '...you don't know what you're missing..'

So , precocious puberty (unlikely as it is in a desert culture at nine years old) is now the excuse then.....

Why are you using a book that is 1400 years old based on what was alleged to have been said by an arab who died 1400 years ago - to judge today's morality?

Was murder OK 1400 years ago? Is it OK today? Was rape 1400 years ago OK? Is it OK today? Was theft OK 1400 years ago? Is it OK today? Is child sex OK for anyone except deviants who can't handle the intricacies of a conscious, adult relationship?

Now you're making words up - just like 'islamophobia'. The word is 'anthropomorphic'. It is not a noun.

Not content to settle for just making words up - you make meanings up for those words!! Very good...shows great imagination. Let me tell you a story about a winged donkey that flies at over 1000kph....

Anthropomorphic means: Attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena.

No, I don't recognise Jerry Lee Lewis as being a prophet or recll him stating he himself was one...- so, no - he has no excuse for bonking a 12 year old . Highly-strung musicians are well known for their excesses in every field. Just because they are good musicians does not mean they cannot act with criminality.

Sidtetracking - yes - he was passionate about his music and undoubtedly a good musician. A lot of great musical innovators lived at that time - Buddy Holly, Marty Robbins...

You want to talk about fatwas? The technical definition I guess would be a opinion concerning Islam issued by an islamic cleric but most I have seen lead me to have the impression most of them are meaningless, vengeful drivel based on an insufferably ignorant view of the world , uttered by consumately deluded ,grumpy old mean - and often acted on by deranged fanatics who should have been recognised and medicated before they had time to act.
