Quite clearly the 'prophet' did nothing to stop the practice.There was no outrage - no sense that this practice was defiling the woman's body. He basically said 'cut, but don't overdo it'. I think you've blown your foot off with this one.

Arabs par excellence - but what has that to do with anything? Dollars, bonds, whatever. But countries will pay for oil with whatever they have. They buy from who ever has got it - whether it's arabs, Russians, Brazilians, El Salvadoreans.

Is this in response to my assertion that '- if the non-muslim world decided to, the muslim world could be obliterated'? Do you seriously think that because muslims number 1.5bilion - concentrated in easily tarfetted areas for the most part - that any one of the groups mentioned could not urn your deserts into glass? Are you so ill-informed? The UK's Trident submarine fleet could wipe out half in a day if there were real cause to. The French with their 300 operational nukes could mop up what was left in a lazy afternoon.So - that would leave Russia and the US and their combined 20000+ nuclear weapons with nothing to do. And tiny Israel would not have to use any of its100 or so, neither would China - or for that matter India. And that's just nucear weapons - we've covered nothing of the conventionasome l and even more deadly unconventional approaches.

So do you still think the muslim world has a pot to pee in militarilly? Do you think that with all the satellites trained over your part of the world that nuclear arms released by Pakistan would not be destroyed within minutes of leaving their silos? (Pakistan is the only muslim country that admits having nuclear weapons as you would know.)

We know where Khandahar is - and we also know how easily the taliban have spread into Pakistan.

Truth needs no defence. Someone who experiences truth does not have beliefs which can be shattered when someone disputes them

Even David Koresh lived a holier life than your 'prophet'. Hindu and Sikh saints before and since Mo left him way, way behind in the holiness/awareness/supercosciousness stakes

So those muslims all around the world who continually make statements such as 'We have to obey Muhammad (S) and love him more than ourselves..' and 'We Love Our Prophet MUHAMMAD(PBUH) Even More Than Our Lives' , '.. We love Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) more than our family and lives.' - do not share your insight and have got it all wrong???

Perhaps you should tell them.

I can understand how if you had enough common sense - you would not worship a dead arab man you have never seen . And whom you would not know , were he alive now - if you fell over him in the street. Imagine if he was clean shaven and wearing a suit? You have inherited a myth - and, having had no exposure and no freedom to do anything else - have perpetuated this myth. I am not talking about truth and consciousness (God) here - but about your imagined relationship with Mohammed who was certainly not an enlightened being . I can understand why you get defensive about a seeming 'attack' on your myth. But the truth is that ultimately, Mohammed, to you - is just an idea - granted a very elaborate one - charged with all sorts of emotions - but nevertheless - an idea. The same way that everything in the external world is.
