You are heavily credentialed and much traveled. I hope you included stepping outside the usual tourist prepped places and got to know the actual realities of every place you visited. Did you just rub shoulders with those of like "education", or look into the lives of the multitude of strata that make up human social levels? It is simplistic of anyone to assume all wisdom comes only from the privileged and institutionally educated.

I have learned to be greatly skeptical of places that governments have specially set up to impress and please tourists. There is so much going on behind the scenes, that the vast majority of the world knows nothing of.

"Final judgment" will bring every human up to speed to what they have evaded knowing of the suffering on this planet and their complicit uninvolvement in doing anything about it. Planet earth is an epic nightmare of unending horror for the biggest majority of it who have no hope of any future. Most know no god of any mercy or love.

It is fine to sit back and pontificate and agreeing to "live and let live" and allow everyone to birth their own conception of who and what the Creator of all the universe and life is. In reality, He is a magnificent God who loves us all, but allows the free choice of all to take an honest look or just sit back and enjoy the free ride good or bad. Those are chosen who search for truth and acknowledge the incredible beauty of creation despite the pain of many of those who live it. Paradise will be indescribable as only a real God would have it, lest they choose Him only for a vision of reward alone. The sensuous are the least to be valued of heaven's rewards. I figure the sensual rewards of heaven will go to those who will be the least in God's Kingdom and have the least vision of life here on earth.

The real challenge is to reach outside the obvious allures of the sensual world and learn to love in a way that approaches the love of God, who loves for reasons that have nothing to do with man's usual bravados and posturing of no substance. Book learning can have value or not. It is ours to shun the pride of birth and culture to critically see as God does with compassion, minus intimidation and threat.

I don't ally myself to anyone who calls themself a "Christian" or anything else by label. I have challenged you a bit crudely, but God didn't make me a primadonna of any privilege. Life has crudely shaped me, but God saw fit to give me a few drops of true wisdom - His, not mine. I take no pride in self, but God only.

God has no faults. His adherents always do as is amply demonstrated in His Book. Those who pursue true peace, love, and forgiveness with compassion for their fellow man exemplify what God calls for in His people. God cleansed the planet himself once in the flood and was so grieved that he vowed to never repeat it. Through Abraham's seed, He cleansed a small piece of geography to prep a place for a carefully prepared people through Moses leading. As God foresaw and foretold, man again desecrated it all.

The purpose has been to thoroughly educate man in his own inevitable failure even when God carefully sets the stage. This then set the stage for God's ultimate solution through a human savior that only He could produce. God has selected a crop from the fields of grain for two thousand years now. It is almost over. A false savior has produced a corrupted version of truth and salvation so as to throw off mankind from the true path to eternal paradise. "One" will predominate over the other at the end, but God himself will step in to deliver the final verdict after man has once again desecrated it all and there is no hope left.

Take note. I have not labeled who any of these players specifically are outside our common beliefs of Noah and Moses other than God himself. You decide for yourself which path sounds the most honorable and fitting to be called God's plan, and God's Savior for mankind. Which God shows a love for His creation? No one creates anything that they don't love. Read BOTH books or you will judge from only a partial picture.

I, also, don't waste much time on anyone I don't respect for some reason or other. I have hated people of both our religions in the past. It has taken a great deal of time (and I still struggle - obviously) to learn to hate only false ideology, which misleads and deceives man from truth. Hypocrisy introduces further challenges because it is practiced by those who know the truth but bail out to suit the convenience of the moment.

Which do you see as describing the most noble and honorable descriptors of God Almighty, or whatever label you choose to call Him by?
