Curmally: Mocking beliefs of others is a Muslim speciality

My dear Curmally you can pray using any verse of the Koran. Are you not aware that there are many verses that make fun of, abuse, curse and blaspheme other religions. So when you pray using them you are in effect doing all those things I have outlined against other religions. In fact in every prayer you refer to the Jews as those who have earned god's wrath and the Christians as those who have gone astray. I am referring to the opening surah of the Koran. <<

You have a right to believe as you wish. But your beliefs instruct you to fight and humiliate us (Koran 9:29) and it tells you to consider us brainless beasts and you are also told that you have a contract from Allah to kill us for which you are given an iron-clad promise of paradise (Koran 9:111). Which is why we are wary of your belief, though we grant you your right to believe as you wish. We also grant cannibals the right to believe as they wish as long as they are not weighing us up for their next meal.

After 1400 years of bitter experience there is no need for you to tell us that Islam is not a peaceful religion.

If that is what (vengeance only to the extent you have been hurt) Islam teaches, then your Prophet was not a Muslim. For he had people murdered for criticizing him in verse. He tortured and killed a Jew for refusing to divulge the whereabouts of his tribe's wealth. He had some murderers left to die of thirst after having them blinded and having their hands chopped off. Can such a man be considered a Muslim?

You fight and kick ass to impose your beliefs on others as you did in Egypt, Iran, India, the Maghreb. And we know as long as there are Muslims you will continue to try and impose your religion on unbelievers because you are mandated by Koran 9:29 to do so and you are given an unbreakable promise in Koran 9:111 to kill us unless we believe as you do.

Do you respect the beliefs of idol-worshippers my dear Curmally?? Muslim constantly mock idol-worshippers as people who worship stones and animals. Your prophet mocked the beliefs of his pagan brethren, he blasphemed Jesus by claiming he was only a prophet and not the Son of God. Islam gives itself the freedom to mock the beliefs of others but believers in Islam react with death and destruction when others give them a taste of their own religion's medicine.

Calling violent jihad lesser does not make it any less violent.

Unfair at times? LOL. Muslims convert majorities into minorities.

You don't have to do that. They do it themselves once in a while. Remember the Crufix in urine exhibit? Christians are unmoved by such stunts. Muslims have yet to grow up and treat such incidents with the disdain they deserve. Muslims desecrated the sacred Buddhist statues at Bamiyan. They would have been hurt by that barbaric act but did in turn barbaric and launch attacks on Muslims. Muslims have not yet learned civilized behaviour in the face of such provocations.

If you know your sira, the prophet himself desecrated the idols of his ancestors. Muslim invaders of India gleefully destroyed and desecrated Hindu and Buddhist holy places and symbols. Let me quote to you from Asaru-l bilad of Zakariya al Kazwini: When the Sultan Yaminu-d Daula Mahmud bin Subuktigin went to wage RELIGIOUS war against India, he made great effort to capture and destroy Somnat, in the hope that the Hindus would then become Muhammadans. He arrived there in the middle of Zil kada, 416 a.h. (December, 1025 a.d.). The Indians made a desperate resistance. They would go weeping and crying for help into the temple, and then issue forth to battle and fight till all were killed. The number of the slain exceeded 50,000….. (The History of India as told by its own historians (page98).

Remember Curmally among those weeping Hindus there could have been some of your ancestors. In your religious zeal for Islam spare a thought for them.

Soft soaping hard facts is an Islamic specialty. Whenever inconvenient verses like 9:29 are thrown at Muslims you use the soap of context to wash it of its real meaning. If that does not succeed you use another brand of soap i.e. the various shades of meaning of words in Arabia of the seventh century, to cover the verse's substance in lather. Read the humungous efforts made to wash away the real meaning of a verse like Koran 4:34.
