Why they don't like Christianity

Hi there Alicia!

Well, you asked why they hate Christianity, what's bad on it. I know the answer because he told me all his thoughts aloud about everything. It's difficult to lie to the one you believe that is a baby lamb that you're taking under your Islamic wings...That's why I wasn't lied by him as much as many of the women on here, and I sadly knew that it was the only way to get the truth. But frankly, I don't know which thing is worse, because I found out I fell in love with a monster. Not to mention my findings about the so-called religion of peace. Actually, I fell for an illusion, because the man he was at the beginning never existed. So yes, I fell in love with a very bad man.

They think their religion is the only one and the true one. The real words of Allah and there can't be another God but Allah. And Muhammad is his last prophet. Period. That's what you recite in the shahada to become Muslim. And in short, it's what Islam is about. Other religion or beliefs systems are wrong and full of misconceptions. About Christianity, they deny Jesus as the son of God as you already know, although they recognise him as a very important prophet able to make miracles. Prophet Isa, they call him. Islam denies the Trinity and the incarnation then. Also it's denied the original sin and the salvation of grace. Along with Judaism, both Christianity and Islam are Abrahamic religions/faiths. But apart from that, the differences are too great.

They believe there are many mistakes that Christians made and that they should take Prophet Muhammad's teachings and revelations as the last words of Allah. So all what happened earlier in time, it's not the real truth, and that's why the revelations were made for Muhammad to spread them to humanity. Yes, those words that we have been discussing in here which differ from one translation to another.

Of course, it's more complex than what I'm saying, and I'm omitting more things because I don't want this post to be very tedious, but summing up, it's just about this: last Prophet, so the real and last words of "God" which must prevail over all.

In addition to this, they think Christians are a joke because of their lifestyles, and we have been discussing in here about what's wrong for them in our lifestyle. From the clothing we wear, and the food and the beverages we eat and drink to our family systems. We are not righteous/pious, and we are described as persons who engage in bad activities. Well, they engage in even more terrible things as well (we're sick of watching them doing their things in our countries not to mention how they get their visas), but they make them all legal under their law. And the ones who aren't allowed, they do them all when nobody is watching, they cover to each other. That's how it works.

They truly believe that our minds need to be fixed. That we are blind because "a veil can't let us see the truth", "our hearts are sealed" and only the ones who Allah chooses will see that truth. (In Surah A-Baqarah, 2:7). How does this sound?

That's why they don't like Christians. Moreover, they're told not to befriend us:

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. (Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:51).

What else do we need to know to believe that we can't be respected, trusted and loved? Really, I'll never get tired of saying it: all is in their scriptures.

I'm going to close today's post with this sentence of yours: "Be proud that you live in the light and that now you know the truth". The key in your post is LIGHT. That's why I think they're attracted to some of us. Their lives and hearts are so dark that they fall for our light. Thank goodness that they didn't steal it from us. You're very right, my friend. I love these words of yours...
