Well, I join the roster of suckers taken by these Moroccan sleazeReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Squeaky580 (United States), Apr 14, 2008 at 21:13 Several months ago, I had an encounter with a Punjabi man who lives near me in Baltimore. I went on an "Indian man" tear, and within days had myself on several Indian dating and matrimonials sites. I made it clear in my postings that I was not looking for marriage, just something casual.. After a couple weeks, I got a message from a south Indian man living in the UAE who was interested in me, and despite the fact that he wasn't exactly my physical type, I began talking to him.. I began to fall in love with him, and we made plans for him to come here and meet me, etc. Well, not long after I met *him*, got a message on Yahoo from a guy in Morocco who had seen my old Yahoo profile and took interest in me. He is 20, I am 28, he was up front with me that he has family in Baltimore, and that he was looking for a woman in Baltimore whom he could get to know and possibly enter into a commitment with. I took him very lightly at first, having looked up the term "moroccan men" and finding this page, and reading everything on it.. I tried to take everyone's experiences to heart. As much as I love my Indian man, I was so tempted by this young, dashing Moroccan, who was so sweet and never asked me for a thing. Things were going well between us, he had me in touch with his family in America- I met his brother, who lives not far from me, and he began wearing a ring on his finger to mark his commitment to me. His family all liked me, despite my spotty past- while they *are* Muslim, they seem to be very Americanized, and his uncle especially, who is his mentor, took a liking to me. But he was so very jealous. He would constantly bring up my Indian friend, who I stopped talking to for him. He insisted that I change my cell number, and later, after *I* offered him my email passwords to appease him, he insisted upon me changing my email addresses as well. He was always the one to bring up my ex, not me, and I knew when he began throwing *his* ex in my face, that it was the begininng of the end. This was when the requests started. Asking for chocolates and clothes- requests which I didn't deny, but put off, because I became distinctly aware of the change in his personality. Finally, he told me he needed a credit card number to play some kind of online games to help him with his english. I would never turn down something that could possibly help him, so I went and got a Greendot Visa, and sent him the number, at the same time, thinking to myself, whatever purchase he makes on this card, I'm going to see exactly what he spent it on, and if he *is* lying, $30 is a small price to pay to get him out of my life. So I gave him the number, and he seemed pleased. Later that day, I went to the Greendot website and looked it up. $29.99 for LavaLife. LAVA LIFE. For those who don't know, that's an online dating service. I went on LavaLife and looked up men in Morocco his age, and *BAM* there was his photo. Ironically, at that same moment, he logged on Yahoo and started with the "hey baby"s, and I just REAMED him. He actually denied it, claiming that his friend had opened the account. And used his photo. And his date of birth. And a screenname surprisingly similar to his own on Yahoo. He really took me for a fool, and of course caught a major attitude when I called him a lyar. And when I said "F*&K You" to him, he tried to turn the tables on me by saying, "I never had anyone say that to me in my life" blah blah blah- trying to make *me* feel guilty, probably so he could use me some more. I have hope for him.. There were times when I could actually *see* him struggling with himself, he would ask me to send him something, then he'd take it back, saying "I love you, not your gifts", and then when he'd fly into one of his jealous rages, he'd once again be asking me to send him stuff.. I told his family what he did to me. Because I know his family has some honour, and him doing what he did is an embarrassment to them. Those of his family who are living in this country are here working thier asses off, and I know they expect the same from him. Hopefully no one else will be searching this website because they've been contacted by Mohcine. My Indian man was waiting for me. LOL. He said, I know you needed to sow your wild oats.. and now I'm happy. :)
