Re; My advice and reply to Isis.

Folks,

As someone who has investigated dating scams and had women from the African continent try and scam me, I would advise the following for your own personal security and well-being:

Do take whatever women who defend their man's color, ethnicity or religion say with EXTREME caution. In the last 2 weeks, it has become VERY clear to me that they are more concerned with the reputation of Berber and Arab men than with your well-being.

Unlike what Isis claims, all of Dr. Pipes blogs are open to anyone , from conservative republicans to jihadists.

I realize that it is difficult for you all to share very personal information or even peek and see that what you have may not be real, Please, please, listen only to those who make sense, not just to those who will say things just to make you feel better.

Reply to Isis:

Luigi - Middle Eastern men are born romantics and their music, songs, poems and stories are all about love. Have you ever listened to Amr Diab a very famous Egyptian singer? His songs are all love stories.

We have our own legacy of romantic writings here in the West. Do you want to know why so many songs are made about love, Isis? Because love is both beautiful but can also cause pain.

But what you are getting at is that you want me to say that not ALL middle eastern men are scammers, but that they ALL are romantic?

Tell me, since you think I know so little about your culture, about taqiyya. Is this a romantic gesture? Or perhaps sharia law, which permits a man to divorce a woman over phone texting in Malaysia, or that he can sleep with prostitutes provided he marries them and divorces them after?

You appear not to have much idea Middle Eastern culture at all but you can give advice on the matter which is essentially incorrect and misleading.

How do you know he is scamming? Because he says I love you? Come on - I think you have some deeper issues here with the way you condemn ALL Muslim men as scammers. I would advise contributors to this forum to seek advice from posters who have experience with the the middle eastern culture and not an American with a huge chip on his shoulder!

No, just an American with a brain who's survived liberal indoctrination at school and who isn't afraid to challenge Islam and the truths about it that are so convienently covered up, even that if that means taking insults from you and the other women on here who are so proud to come on the internet and defend their man, who's probably laughing in his sleeve that he got an educated, Western woman at his side to do his bidding.

I've studied international policy and culture as a sub-field in college. And I would even bet you that Dr. Pipes and Robert Spencer know more about Islam than most Muslims do, and I may even, considering the plummeting literacy rates in Islamic nations.

Why do I sense a scam? Easy: Every scammer I've ever dealt with has fallen in love on the second e-mail, through a few IM conversations, and acts desperate.

A man who over-compliments a woman or says "I love you" too many times is also insecure. A common mistake, I think for many men.

But as, I said, scammers will do this for two reasons:

1) So that you feel guilty and not want to hurt them so you'll give in. This is a technique that salesmen use. Hardly indictative of Amr Diab's jeel music, right Isis? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amr_Diab

And actually, I do like music from the Middle East, but I'm more partial to Western Saharan, and of course, Persian and Afghan Christian hymns.

2) It makes it harder for you to say NO. This is actually part of persuasive speaking known as ethos, or a play on emotions.

So, Isis, I refuse to believe that with all the population growth in the Middle East, that sales techniques and persuasive speaking is the basis for all the charm and romance that Mr. Diab sings about.

And I really don't have a chip on my shoulder. I just don't get why women like you don't defend Russian or Nigerian women or Western men if this is all about some principle of politeness. Maybe, like the others, you really do feel that Berber men are better than everyone else.

I can't say I'm surprised. As a man, I can clearly see how the design of orthodox Islam favors Arab and Berber men above everyone else. Just like Nazism favors light-skinned, blue-eyed, Anglo-Saxons and Persians and Darwinsim favors Western Europeans and how La Raza (The Race) means to interbreed everyone in the world so Hispanics can feel good about themselves.

As a Christian, I believe we are all created equal, and it's our choices that define us.

So, sorry, no chip. Just the bare, cold-faced truth from someone who doesn't treat things (as comedian Dennis Miller would say) like a fabrija egg.
