My Story with a Moroccan Man.Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Hunny Uk (United Kingdom), Oct 16, 2008 at 10:17 Hi all, I am 37 years old and i am dating a 5 years younger moroccan man i met on the net 1 year ago .I have been to Morocco 2 times i met all his family and i just returned from Morocco 1 week ago. He asked me to marry him the first time i went to Morocco in April 2008. Of course i said no ,i replied was too soon to get married and the fact i wanted to wait more time so we could get to know each ohter more ,and he said he will wait all the time i need. Of course during this time i have sent him some money as he helps his mother in the shop and dont earn much money and he has 3 brothers and 2 sisters of which they dont work his id cards was expired and did not have the money to pay for it ect.So this time i went for a Month and this was during Ramadam time. He has been ever so sweet on the internet ,and had all in a man that would be any woman dreem, only you, i love you we will always be toghter will do everything toghter ,i will wait for you ect.His family on the first time i met them were fantastic with me ,and made me feel home and very welcomed. But please read what happend this time..... when i went to Morocco in September i stayed with his family and i can tell you now was totally diferent since the first time i met them. I would do the dishes and pay for the shopping get them a laptop as well as other gifts i was very welcomed but then they wanted more and this is when i stopped to think i know that they are poor ,but i also noted they are very materialist and really like nice stuff and they dont adapt they wanted more and more and could see from thier body language if i would not give what they wanted the would be more cold towards me. Regarding his family members all married with relatives and the woman are yonger than the man he never told me that before i went to morocco never told me his uncles have 2 wifes ect ..Mohamed and also called Simo my fiance every opportunity he had he would sleep untill 2 and then help his mum , after breakfast ramadam time 19:00 local time would go to take a coffee with his male friends for 1 hour max 2 every day.Me i could not do nothing he would make sure i was with his family all the time he was away and i can tell you all, was not easy not knowing the language. Next Islam ,he asked me to convert to Islam and i have told him right from the start i am a cattolic and this way i will stay,he said he wanted to save me by going to hell.....and i had so much pressure from all his family and friends and i stayed with my belives and my religion. I have been in hospital too and the sistem id different to what we are used too and they did not accept my health insurance so i need to pay for the visit and the medication. My god he even hided my pasport coz i wanted to return to uk sooner. He made cover ,and the fact i am a attractive woman he dint like the fact man would look at me and would get so jealous. He his a good looking man when i was ill he looked after me he still want to get married but now the sonner the better he has asked me to move to morocco and live with his family until he dont find a job.But since i returned to the uk we dont spend much time on the internet coz he told me he is saving the money for the internet connection and to pay for the weading.I am so confused and really dont know what to do coz i do love this man, but in my head i know something is not right specialy when i had the opportunity to speak with some of his friends they have married western woman and after 3 years they divorzed them, and now married with moroccan girls of which is one family member.I have met Moroccan girls too and they the are on the internet chatting with many man .my God ,and they claim to be vergins and all full of values of which they think we havent got. Did this happend to any of you.Can you please reply coz i am very confused. Thank you. Hunny Uk.
