To Jamtown,Moroccan real love?Or fake like the Designer bags they copy?Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Hunny Uk (United Kingdom), Nov 20, 2008 at 07:44 Hi Jamtown, Thanks for sharing your story. I was in a simmilar situation and i was dating my ex Moroccan for one year too,we were on web cam for one year too,and i met him in person more than one time and met all his family, they were fantastic to me ,this is what i was made to believe. We were going to get married in October and as you can see i did not marry him. For my own experience i could see they were false and wanted to change me totaly, including my religion. While i was in Morocco in September for more than a Month and i am glad i did,coz for the first 2 weeks the acting from all of them was fantastic, but then the true coulors came out !!! The majority of his family are married with cousins of which he never told me before, his hunculs have more than 1 wife too!!!!He has some of his family married with Western woman but i can tell you now will not be for long. When i was in Morocco he was taking coffee with his friends and would not let me go out and leave me in the house with his family!!!i am sure he was in the cyber speaking with a other womans too possibly in America.Coz he sister told me more than ones i dint have the American accent !!!and for the fact of the difference of the legal time. Other thing i din't know he has Doctors in the family but he made me feel to pay for his treatment in a private clinic. What they say ,and i have spoken with many moroccans ,in Islam you have to give to who dont have!!!!But this is valid for non muslim to help coz they dont really help each other out ,unless to just buy a coffee and talk to thier friends who gets the faster and better deal in getting out of misery. I have spoken to a British woman no long time ago and she did marry a Moroccan and took him over here in the UK. He wants to go back to Morocco to live for a while coz the 3 Years are just passed and she got the fiiling he has got a plan over there. As soon as he moved in the UK was happy for some time and then was always sad and missing his friends and family and making sad this woman too.He was sending money to his family in Morocco. If it benefits the family they will accept the marriage and when they have a stable siatuation they do end up divorzing the woman with children or not, they will go!!!!They do that with Muslims too ,if is not what the family have chosen. They end up getting married to some cousins or some body they know from Morocco, but they like to have a western on the side too!!!! I tell you the opinion they have on us too!!!We are durty coz we use the toilet paper, and easy woman and also very stupid too!!!I They are the man and for the man everything is permited!!!!Moroccan woman would never date a Moroccan if he hasn't got a good job and money to spend on her.In order to get to that stage they need a job and somebody to pay for all the documents and of course a new passort or at list some documents to have the right to live in a other country, they only look what is best for themself not for us!! Have you forght why in the embasies they need many documents?Sponsorship, interview and so on?Coz they know thier game and is a very difficult situation for them too, coz of the humans right and of course they cannot stop 2 people getting married.but they are trying to protect us, our economy and our country, but we just cannot see it!!!!!We end up paying the price for everything all they do is laugh ,all of them including thier family!!!!I am sure when you went in July you took photos too including with his family coz they need that too for the embasy, and they know that so well!!!!! They have very good selling skills!!!This is what is all about the sell thier WORDS. Thier love is fake like the Dolce e Gabbana bags they copy!!!!Words only sweet and fake words this in my honest opinion. Do you speak Arabic? That would be a good idea to learn some before you go. Did you know you have to take the HIV test too before getting married,Doctor certificate, your Bank Statments, income, work contract, letter for your work , prove of the deeds of your property, mortgage payments, if you dont have a mortgage the prove of the rent book, landlord letters, if you have any other depts, loans ect,and You have to pay for all this documents too!!Plus you have to go your embasy and get other documents and need to be translated in Arabic or French , you have to pay for that too!!including police records and all documents are valid for max 3 Months in Morocco, and the marriage is under the Moroccan Islamic LAW. Have You considered about any children you might have in the future?Religion and law too!!!What about if You marry him and he then sends his income to his family in Morocco. How would you feel abut that? How would you feel after married if he tells you he wants to go to Morocco on his own coz of any reason he tells you? Please take a very good health insurance if you decide to go ,and let your local embasy know the date of your arrival and the date you're supposed to leave Morocco including potocoping your passport and all other documents and please write down all usuful telephone numbers. Please think carefuly before you marry this man. What does your family think about it, and what is your friends opinion?I am only telling my honest opinion based on my own experiences in Morocco with a Moroccan and by talking to other people in the UK who have married a Moroccan.I really hope your case is different. I wish all the best of luck in everything you do. Take care. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
