Hunny UKReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Just Thinking (South Africa), Nov 21, 2008 at 04:39 Salaam I am a Muslim man... I have been on msn only for 2 months now since I met a woman from morocco. Honestly she seems like everything I would want in a wife. She seems respectable, Alhamolilla. There is one strange thing I only realized after reading your comments here...And I seek protection in Allah from this if she is doing this. Anyway you said that your BF had a sister that went to cyber cafes and logged on to msn and that she had many guys who she chatted with but covered up. I started to think about the woman I met and once I did ask her if she talks to alot of men on msn as from the personality she prtrays to me, I would expect taht she isnt that type of person who will keep in contact with many men on msn etc. - But she actually did say yes she does talk to alot of guys, so I asked her if they all interested like me in marriage with her and to this replied No no all of them... so I got carried away and asked her then how many are interested and all she said to that was Change the subject then she left the chat abruptly and didnt return until a few days later... so i figured that was strange... First of all I was quite surprised at her answering yes that she does chat to many guys. I also wondered why she wanted e to change the subject, but I kind of understood as I thought maybe I was being childish. But then recently, we were chatting as normal and she then told me that she wanted me to know that she doesnt chat to anyone online except me. - Ofcourse, thats what I wanted to hear. Anyway, she also showed a high level of interest in me only after the first night we chatted. I found it a bit strange but when I asked her how was that possible, she answered in a way that made sense according to our Islamic way of life. She is from a town called khemisset, so I found out from moroccoan peole living in my country about the people there... All the people said here about that town is that the people there are relatively good people, they are very Islamically inclined and that is evident from the things she and I speak about and about what she tells me about her lifestyle - which is why I became really interested. The only thing all the people in my country and also the people here that are married to morccons, the only thing they did say is that if the woman I met was from casablanca or marakesh or anywhere other than the town of khemisset then I should keep far far away from her... as she might be trouble and most likely very materialistic... She and I discussed marriage alot... more because I wouldnt befreind a woman out of my family for any other reason so I was the one who brought it up when we met. But according to her the only reason we cant get married is because her parents feel I live too far away and they are not sure how she will manage in my country and because her parents are way too old. I ask her if she has any friends and stuff when we just making conversation... and she just said that her only friend is her sister who lives with her and her parents. - Considering the unislamic lifestyles many young people live these days, I took that as a positive in terms of finding a good Muslim woman to start a life with. She says she spends all of her time at home... she says she learns alot about Islam and her dream is like mine, to teach people about the beauty of Islam and to gain as much of Islamic knowledge in our lives etc. - So far as a Muslim man, she sounds quite nice to marry. I need to know from you if the women are the same like the stories oabout the men of morocco? I recently purchased a laptop and sent it to her... i dont mind but it was quite an effort on my part... the reason I said I will do this, was my suggestion, not hers. She and I needed to stay in contact, and she was using a pc that is her brothers, so he is not always around... i then suggested that I will send hera laptop so we could stay in contact... Am I being too naive? Or is it safe to beleive that she is perhaps not like the men of morocco or something?? If you ever see this --- I will really be interested to hear any info you might have.
