Hunny UK and Ginny and othersReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Lisa USA (United States), Jan 20, 2009 at 11:30 I have learned so much about about Moroccans ,and all they are interested is : to get education abroad, to get the visa, to get a job and send money to buy a property and to keep the family in Morocco and marry a virgin Moroccan in the end.If he claims to be rich and lets say he is, his motives are visa, or education and work experience but i really doubt is for love.Love comes after marriage in the Muslim world, so does sex. Hunny I have to disagree with this statement. Yes you are right some Men do this but it is only the ones with bad characteristics and bad intentions in the first place which was the case for you and some others here posting. Now with this said, i agree with the property statement even My Moroccan Fiance told me a story that had happened in his city....A young Moroccan man named Mourad age 26-27 had met a 53 yr old French lady and claimed to love her and she loved him. His intentions were bad from the start. He talked her into buying him a business in El Jadida, Morocco....She decides to go and visit her daughters and as soon as she left El Jadida, he got himself a new girlfrnd and he sold the business while all along he told her it was prospering...she returns to Morocco to find husband and business gone and people told her what happened. My Fiance said this Mourad is now in prison for 3 years and they do not know where French lady is. Im sure she filed charges.....My Fiance also said to be careful if he tries to talk you into investing in a business in Morocco and tells you that Morocco does not allow a woman's name on business. It is a lie. Do not fall for this scam. Make sure your name is on ownership the wifes only inherit 1/8 of husbands Fortune when following Moroccan laws of Inheritance this applies if there are children. If no children, fortune can be split between brothers/sisters I Think.....Also the laws has changed...The first son does not inherit everything in Morocco. The sons do however get DOUBLE the amount over the girls....with wife getting even less....and I was wrong, my fiance corrected me on the fact he is the first born son over the other brother from his father's first marriage by 6 months....It was my mistake. Al;so for your information, Simo also told me that if a mother goes to the police and tells police the son has money and she is without, they will make him pay to the mom an amount depending on how much he makes. Also if a man has sex without marriage and she gets pregnant and she goes to the police she can have him to marry her and if man tells police but i do not love her, they will tell him then you should not have had sex with her. They will investigate to see if it may be his baby of course and if the girl is telling the truth....just some extra information here coming from a Moroccan Muslim man. I have learned so much about about Moroccans, ,and all they are interested is : to get education abroad, to get the visa, to get a job and send money to buy a property and to keep the family in Morocco and marry a virgin Moroccan in the end ............Hunny, I have sympathy with all you went through but honestly you can not say that this is the only wish for all Moroccans. A lot of Moroccans will get very defensive if they think you are bad mouthing their country. They take it to heart and think you are downing their culture and religion. Some do love living in their own country and they are ok with their country. You do not have to get married to broaden your education for a Moroccan. I know that My Fiance's niece has traveled back and forth to Europe to further her medical carreer. Maybe your statement may hold more truth in my opinion if you stated most (but not all) POOR Moroccans with no better future insight. Not all Moroccans are poor as well. his motives are visa, or education and work experience but i really doubt is for love.Love comes after marriage in the Muslim world, so does sex....Hunny, I have to disagree with this generalization as well....The Quran may state that you do not have to love the woman at the beginning but does not mean it does not happen. This was put in Quran to cover arranged marriages i do believe and explaining you do not have to already be in love. So I think it is an unfair statement to say Muslims do not love before marriage. Yes SEX is suppose to come after marriage and its also a law in Morocco but they are also human Hunny. They do have sex before marriage. We did and I had asked if he wanted to wait because his dad had reminded him to respect me and he discussed it with me before i went to him and I did not want to disrespect Simo as well so I told him I would leave it to him to decide. I was staying alone with him for 15 days and the add knew of this.....with all said, and Im being honest here, I asked what made him not wait and he said our intentions are good and we are to be married so we are good and he already feels I am his wife and respects me and If I am ok with it and he is too....Im sure there are others who think like him. I also know the cultural wedding was talked about on here and how her husband would not allow her the cutural wedding and only did the court house type wedding without all the trimmings.....I found a beautiful American dress I wanted to wear in April for our marriage because I was under impression we were doing this type simple marriage just to be legal and so my dress would be ok at his parents reception with a few friends and family members but Simo said he wanted me to be Moroccan and he wants me to experience the matrimonial culture and he is excited and wants us to share our marriage with family and friends.H...e wanted to know if I have a problem with wearing the Moroccan dress and of course I do not... I just was under impression it would not be in our budgets. My question is to Muslim woman or anyone who knows....he said a lady comes and she already has dresses with her and she dresses you and does even your hair and I am not sure about make-up if I can do my own and what takes place and Simo does not know all about this but said he would ask to be sure...I joked with him i will be lost at my own wedding...can someone tell me how this works so i will be prepared..Thanks in advance. Oh he did agree I can still wear my beautiful dress sometime in the night....It was not a traditional American wedding dress...an Elegant and classy almost floor length.....and can be worn for wedding or anywhere out nice.
