Hi Green !Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Margaret (Poland), Jan 22, 2009 at 15:16 hi,last year i went to spain on holiday with my family and my 2 children,i met a waiter, and even though we did'nt talk to each other there was an obvoius attraction. when i left i was heartbroken (silly! i know) ,so i sent him a letter to the holiday complex giving him my e-mail. he replied and so we have been in contact since. Hi- as a mother of 2 children, you have every right to be extra careful and dont feel guilty about it. Not only your future but also the future of your two children is at stake... You are not paranoid- if you were you probably didnt even start this "relationship"... he is morraccan, same age as me(29) and a muslim. He has told me his parents are teachers of language and he speaks 4 languages,he has never mentioned money.he seems so geniune! But i can't help wondering? Do you think it is possible that a son of two teachers (so- educated people) would earn his bread as a waiter? Usually educated parents care about good education for their children... If he knows 4 languages- is it not strange he is just a waiter? Well- the scams work- because these men are good at it...plus- every issue like marital, work, family, mood problems make them more effective because we want to escape from every day life and want to be saved by prince on the white horse...we want to believe them... sometimes he just goes offline while we are talking? and i have seen many photos of him and his siblings and parents. He has told me that he lives with his sister and he sends photos, and being a paranoid women i have looked at these pictures and noticed his sister, who is(18) wearing a ring on her marriage finger? so maybe she is not his sister? Well- 99% it is his wife...Think... it is not common for adult men to live with their sister...If he had an unmarried sister she would probably lived with the parents...The mother would look for an appropriate husband for her and guard her virginity...what is a point of an adult sister living with her adult brother? Whats more they consider our contries as immoral- so no muslim parents will send their daugther there unguarded (he works so he is not watching over her) he has told me that he has told his parents and that they told him its his life. he tells me that he would like to marry me! but when i ask him about seeing each other he always replys that i should'nt worry, and that i will happen eventually! he constantly asks how my parents will react( they know him from previous holidays), and we have discussed religion, he told me about allah and i told him about my beliefs in the goddess! he laughs and says our gods have brought us together, and i have told him i will not convert, which he accepted. he says he wants to be with me but we would have to marry, otherwise we cant sleep together. so please, can anyone help? he is either too good to be true or a horrible little man? Too good? What is so good about him ?He doesnt want to see you- and only pressures for quick marriage... The reasons he asks about your parents approval is money...You are 29 with 2 kids(probably dont have much savings)- so all the expenses- like wedding, travel to Morroco to meet his parents, gifts for his countless relatives, your future apartment will depend on their assistance...Naturally- if they dont approve- no money... Scammers can be after many things- visa, money, gifts, spreading islam, good time- free sex, some are even pimps and force girls into prostitution... Take care (:
