Response to Simba on European Women and Muslim menReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Straight_Talk_Luigi (United States), Aug 13, 2009 at 12:27 my college with in the usa, and i met alot of people overthere I'm sure you can understand that some readers may not be entirely convinced of that. Students from foreign countries who study in the USA have to take a test in English proficiency known as the TOEFL exam. Your grammar on here is rather careless which could account for two possibilities--- that either you don't know English very well, which does not really support you were a student over here in the USA or this issue really does not bother you that much to put forth more time and effort into it. All European women think that its a big mistake to get to marry an arab male ......... why ? If all European women thought that, Simba, this blog would have little reason to exist. Most of the posts on here are by Western women. why they always thinks that arab men just looking for a passport only. Have you even read the posts on here? I for one have said repeatedly that a passport is not the only motive, although it's very clear that's what is happening in several situations described on here. Listen, Simba, if you want people to indulge you in self-pity because of your ethnicity, go to Y! answers or topix. I'm not going to entertain such suggestions and neither will most of the other regular posters on here. just for everyone to know, everywhere you'll find a good people and also a bad ones That is not a sufficient explanation for such complicated situations. I think it is really only an excuse to avoid the work necessary in a relationship. at any religion also the same, but now how come you find a 50 years old lady or even 45 years old getting to marry a 25 years old male and when he leave her one day, she start to cry and think that he didn't love her and he was just looking for a passport Probably because 1) Relationships with older women and younger men (especially with such a large age difference) rarely work out in any culture due to deep, strong human traditions and key biological and social differences 2) Quite frankly, because he was looking for just a passport! for sure, she should know from the begining that she is looking for someone to injoy her time with, and for sure he wanted a chance to get out of his country. Yes, of course. All the motives of every Arab man are genuine. If it makes you feel any better, Simba, Latino, Nigerian, Asian and Russian women pull the same stuff on American men all the time. it doesn't mean because one of us is bad, so the rest are the same It has been said and discussed on here many times that the men who scam, lie, cheat or whatever are not reflective as a whole of Muslim/Arab/Egyptian/Turkish/Moroccan culture as a whole. Such implied accusations are unfair to our regular posters and the overall reputation of this blog. If you have a problem with a particular post, my advice is to address the author of that post directly instead of complaining and generalizing. But you may want to keep in mind that many posters on here have been hurt pretty badly in relationships by both Western and Muslim men. for all the european females, i wanna tell that you have to open your eyes for awhile Now this little piece of advice I would follow. A great way to do that is to keep reading on this blog. just give a chance, and you're gonna find out if this person is deceiving you or not Ladies, listen to this at your own risk. While I like to give people the benefit of the doubt on here, I have been suspicious for some time that a scammer would A couple of women on here have told me they have already shown their man this blog, which probably means that more have as well. Also note the response of Nala. Simba and Nala are two fictional characters from an animated movie "The Lion King" made by Disney Corporation in the mid-1990's. I have to concede that Simba may even be a lost woman trying to convince herself what she has is real, and that Simba & Nala may be the same person. and sure you'll find alot of signs, also if he made love with you or had any sexual relation with you before marriage, just make sure that he is not honest and he is just playing with you to get what he want Sex before marriage usually leads to problems. And it's pretty much not real love, I think. because belongs to the arab traditions no way for anyone to make love without marriage We have old saying here in America: Traditions are meant to be broken. Listen, friend, I know of Western guys who get sex all over the Middle East and Africa. In some cases, even with the wives of Muslim men. and for me, so i have been in the states for 4 years untill i got graduated from there and now um back to egypt, um also in a relation with someone from UK, and i do love her alot You don't provide much info, but there is only so much you can learn from someone over the phone or internet. even when we decided to marry, i offered her to marry her through Imam * Religion Guy * without any documents just to proof to her that i need nothing from her Or to just avoid the documents altogether so she won't suspect anything.... for every female, watch your lover or your fiance or your man, test him, ask him, get to know his family members in person to know what he is up to......also take the first step and try to live with him in his country for not less than 1 year at least so that you could figure out if he is telling you a truth or not Good advice in any relationship, but unfortunately, in many of these cases, the real man does not come out until after marriage. And it's not always as dramatic as Dr. Pipes writes above the comment section. Sometimes it can take months, even years.
