beware

I will cut my very long story short. Went to Egypt for holiday twice as my sister lives out there due to work. Egyptian men are opportunist. Unless they are already established then beware. Their tactics are simple. They will sweet talk you & tell you some sad story either about their family or they don't need money or passport and that they only look for love. Good luck ladies!

On my last trip recently, I fell for a young Egyptian who tried to chat up my eldest daughter first then quickly turned to me when she rejected him. He told us some sob story that a young French girl had broken his heart over 2 years ago resulting in him being very ill. I bought the story. Started seeing him every night after his work. Somehow in such short space of time, he convinced me that he loves me & that he wanted to marry me. I was reluctant & thought the whole thing was a joke. The next thing I know, he arranged for his 2 friends to be witnesses & took me to some lawyers office & basically signed what some people would call a 'sex marriage certificate'. Muslim men do not have sex unless they're married (most of them). Although we did not consumate the marriage, he's been harrassing me to go out there. Luckily I am broke but he had offered to pay for the ticket.

My sister & her friends are totally against me being with an Egyptian men bcoz of their experiences. I have no faith in this person. He tells me alot of nice things but thats as far as it goes, talk. If we're gullible enough to buy their sweet talk then at some point we will add to the victims' list!! Wakey wakey!
