To SabrinaReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Willow NC (United States), Dec 15, 2009 at 21:44 You sound like a smart women and I think you are doing the right thing by doing some research. I am a professional educated woman without mental issues as Margaret describes I was more intrigued with this man more so but treaded very slow and I am glad now for I could have had my heart shattered. I met a North African Man in person and he was not much older than me and also was divorced, and had his U.S. Greencard already. He said all the right things and the attention was over the top which made me really cautious. If it had been my first relationship post divorce I could have easily fell for it. I will mention he used a lot of the same lines I saw here and agree with I believe someone else wrote - it's like they have a textbook. "My Queen" "Sexy" LOL. He was a bit surprised I was so educated in regards to other cultures and immigration which I owe to the fact, I have a North African man who works for me as well as 2 other ladies from other parts of Africa. One thing to note once you get sucked in they almost do a 360 which makes you question things - which by the way can be men of any religion or culture if they are liars for its hard work acting all the time. I found myself attached but after disappearing acts, him wearing the same clothes a few times in a row and blaming ME for him missing me when he broke up with me when I accepted it and didnt contact him. I found myself unable to trust him- I actually realized I was just not as in to him as I thought I was because He was such a FAKE. He NEVER asked me for money and he paid most of the times when we went out. Of course he was not as well off as me but a very simple man. Well I have a co-worker who is Moroccon who has been in this country for over 10 years and this is what he told me after I finally had enough with the last disappearing act he told me "It's not you, It's him". 1) A lot of people left North Africa and migrated to European countries because it was easier at one time. He did mention Germany, Belgium, France at one time was accepting these folks. So he could have family there 2) Also said a lot of guys who left - have wives and familes and basically live abroad earn money, send money home and stay to earn social security credits so they can later retire move back to their county and yes continue to have a mailbox here and have an address so they can draw Social Security for a couple of hundred bucks converted to their currency is huge when they get old. (This really pisses me off) 3) While they are living abroad not unusual for their wife and family to be living with an elder brother's family for they benefit from the money sent home. 4) They go home usually a month every year make babies and then go back out of the country. The male doesnt raise them its the mothers job 3) 100 U.S. sent to those countries is worth significantly more 4) Typically the mother and aunts pick out a wife for them and they do marry within their community. My co-worker actually married a women who grew up 2 houses down from him while growing up in Morocco 5) Lying in Islam is accepted you can google the criteria. But basically if you are not Muslim it's acceptable Be very careful and smart and remember people treat you they way you let them. It's very easy to be something you are not when you are behind a PC. There are good and bad Muslims just like Christians. I would be skeptical not spending time with each other in person. Take CareXx
