Following up on your comments - Married to a MoroccanReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by stuck (United States), Dec 25, 2009 at 02:23 Hello, to your response. According to New York State, these actions do not fall into the divorce bucket, and I have spoken to 6 lawyers about this marriage and even that I met when I first gave birth to my son are concerned and wish that I can get of of this. But a New York family lawyer stated once NYS passes the NO-fault divorce, then I can finally leave this mess. For one thing, I met him at a gas station and I did not want to date him and my good friend told me to go ahead. From day one he lied that he did not have money for our wedding, and that he borrowed money from his boss, and that he had debts in Morocco and I as a devoted wife also gave him $3,400 and he sent that to Morocco and a few months later, his parents were in a brand NEW house. I spoke with his ex-boss from the gas station and she told me that he never borrowed money from her for the wedding and that the debt in Morocco was paid off before we were married, that is the ex-bosses story. With our first kid, I became very ill in the hospital and I was put on a respirator and he stole $300 from my pocket book, then he went to my house in my draw and stole another $300 so a total of $600 and never considered to buy diapers nor pay bills to keep things current, I was in the hospital for a good 28 days. His mother is no good as well and she does tarot cards and spells so she always sees money. She always see my money not what her son should be doing with his money and that is to provide for the family and they have him digging through my walls and I had to get cameras up to watch the home. He likes to call out sick and sometimes he leaves for work at 5 am but he is back in the house at 10:30 am and I do not want our son to see this crap. He does not help out with the kids and their homework, he does not take them to the park, he is totally transparent. He always hides his money and lies that he is so broke but yet he will have a couple of videos from Blockbuster and they are not rentals. He is constantly pulling scams. I had a private investigator do a search on my husband and he can not find any kind of debt in Morocco but did state that I married a con artist and 6 psychologist said the same thing a pure scammer and a con artist looking for a handout. I am glad that you did not marrie a moroccan and there are other blogs full of complete negativity about these men. And it is always the younger Moroccan guy with an older female. These men are very charming but it is best to stay far away from them, they are nothing but trouble. I also read that the Internet scams are very big in Morocco and I hope that I can help others make the right decision to not to marry a Moroccan because they will have their hands full of hot garbage that these men dish out. It is a continuing circus of lies, scams and tons of bullshit. The mother tried to scam me to go to Morocco and said that there was a wedding, guess what?? I found out that there was no wedding at all and a psychologist and a lawyer stated that for some reason that they wanted me over there to really start some mess with me!! Mess that my husband still is involved in. I was trying to do some research on financial scams in Morocco and came across with web site and I took the time to let people know exactly what they will be dealing with if they get involved with a Moroccan man. Even my family members had talks with him to be a better provider and to give me some gas money as well. For these men, you have to watch your back or they will completely screw you over big time. I can't throw 8 years of all of the bad stuff in my marriage here but they lack a concern for family needs and this one had very little upbringing and you will not see it until about a year of marriage plus with you start having kids. Right after I married I had my first baby and right after the green card came he got nastier. He has 2 jobs one full time and one part time in which I took the test and got him those jobs and I have nothing in return from him, people say how ungrateful he really is and lies and still sends money to Morocco and once in a while I find Western Union receipts of $500 or more and that is way more than he gives me for food and for the kids. This marriage is going no where and I can not keep money in the house nor in my truck because he is constantly digging around for funds instead of being a provider and one lawyer called him a money junkie and one psychologist called him a money manipulator. If you do research on these Moroccan men, some sites say that many of them do not work, are not educated (college material), and a lot of them are petty thieves and yes, I got a lazy ass Moroccan husband because when I got the flu, he used my toothbrush so he could sit his backside up in the house for a week. and he steels money. He has even taken money from the kids and I said that the next time he steals any money from me and the kids that I am going straight to the police and file a complaint so when it is time to get out of this mess, the judge will see that this guy is a pure jackass. One more lie, one year on tax time, he told me that he did not have the money when were got there and I had my mortgage money and I swiped my debit card, he never paid me back that money and my home defaulted but yet I found a Western Union receipt with his mother's name on it so it really goes to show you that he is a real character.
