answer to MunamReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by only one voice (United States), Dec 25, 2009 at 16:28 I will give my answer to you. First I graduated school with a/b's. Did not attend college but I have been blessed with excellent paying jobs. I have held jobs ranging from $17/hr to now $22/hr so did not have the need to attend college. I run a business which is more of hobby and occassional extra money. Divorced mom of three older children in teens and early 20's. Dated several men before marriage. Several prospects after marriage, none I was interested in. Im sure was good men, just no attraction there. I have always been picky with my men. Always dated within the caucasian race. I had oppurtunities to date men here in my city and also other states from on-line social networking. Co-workers would want to introduce me to single men. Good woman who works comes home do household duties...but before this have been to hot spot club scenes when single. Son's friends would hit on me and tease him about having a hot momma. Preppy son who didn't care to show his mom off. Busy with life and didn't care to hang out with friends. Cheating American husband but even with this, is not why I fell for my husband. We started off talking as friends. I wanted to travel and meet him to see if we both were attracted to one another in person, which we were. We are both nice people. He has nice family I would say his family would be considered Middle class Americans or more. Family home about 400,000 plus! Family does have cars, exercise equipment, computer, nice tvs furniture, chandeliers, etc. My husband works and pays his way, doesn't ask, hint or accept money from me. He knew at beginning of our relationship i am buying my home which is older and about $50,000 and I owe about 7 more years of payments. He knows I don't have a savings and sometimes live week to week. He is not poor, has a contracted job in his city, has dated older women in his own race (9 years difference between us). Never have doubted this man's affection or love for me. We both want our marriage to work and will work hard at it. He has always considered me first and I hope it remains the same when he gets here. He has been honest to date with no behaviors displayed I have read about here. calm easy person to get along with. My question is you are Pakistani. Where you born in us? You consider yourself a good person and if you were this good person and was still living in Pakastan, and you knew you could have a decent good woman and better your life too with someone you are attracted to, would you? Not all women are overweight obese or show there age that get with these men. Im sure our case is not isolated. Im not saying this is what my husband did when choosing a wife when we agreed to marry, but if he was being selective, I can't blame him. i don't see anything wrong with marrying a liberal man from Morocco who has good intents. Yes, I agree with you, the women on here complaining saw red flags mentioned. The only red flag I see in my marriage is I am older but he likes his oldest friends best so his character is different from our young men in the usa. Men do marry older women here in usa too, so therefore i give him the benefit of doubt he deserves unless proven differently. Im hoping we can start our lives soon. We are both tired of the internet
